Seattle area engaged couples gathered with their friends and family to experience the Pacific Northwest’s charm and style while soaking up wedding inspiration at WeddingWire’s Seattle community event. With a roster of talented local wedding professionals, guests mingled while experiencing first-hand how all the details come together at a wedding. Hotel Sorrento set the stage with its historic locale, gorgeous penthouse venue, and stunning downtown views. Guests were able to mingle over tasty bites and beverages, while experiencing the work of incredible local talent who showcased the many elements of a wedding. Take a glimpse into the soirée, perfectly captured by Tiffany Arns.
Seattle Party Shots brought the photobooth fun with a wide variety of festive props. Guests enjoyed taking their pictures with veils, top hats, and viking helmets, just to name a few.
Guests not only enjoyed beautiful floral arrangements by Designs by Courtney, but they were invited to take home living succulent rings, created exclusively for them.
Tucked in the bridal suite was Sarah Ren Makeup Artistry & Hair, who provided a Lip Bar where guests tried many different lip shades in this relaxed and intimate setting.
On the sweeter side, Delicately Sweet Confections tempted tastebuds with luscious cake bites and wow’d guests with meringue tower complete with edible gold glitter.
From old school tunes to brand new tracks, Sounds Unlimited took requests from the guests and showed off their extensive song inventory.
Alex of Taylor’d Events Group topped off the evening with her expert wedding planning tips and answered guests’ most pressing questions during her Q&A.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended and to all of our participating partners! If you’d like to find out about future events, you can reach out to WeddingWire Community Manager Jamie at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Bright Maine Barn Wedding – Kate and Whitney were married at The Barn on Walnut Hill in North Yarmouth, Maine on August 22. This couple said “I do” in a beautiful wooded setting, which was followed by a reception in the venue’s barn. They added cheerful pops of color and playful prints to create a whimsical vibe. We love the groom’s floral-patterned tie!

Autumn Michigan Backyard Wedding – Megan and Jason were married at their home in Muskegon, Mich. on October 17. They kicked off the wedding in an unexpected way: by serving cocktails and dinner before the ceremony! After they said “I do,” the newlyweds partied all night long with their guests and golden retrievers, Charlie and Leonard. Who can resist such a sweet puppy face?
