Tips for trials:
It is best to have your face clean and free of makeup when makeup artist arrives
before makeup artist begins applying makeup you should discuss what types of look you are hoping to achieve, being prepared with photos of looks you like or have in mind will give the makeup artist a better idea of your style so you can have a smooth flowing trial run.
Before makeup artist begins you should notify her of any allergies to ingredients. If you feel more comfortable using your moisturizers, brushes, etc... feel free to express your wishes or concerns.
Make sure your makeup artist can make recommendations on how you should take proper care of your skin. Great skin equals great makeup!
Makeup artist should be sanitary and have concern about your health! A makeup artist should come to your location with clean brushes! They should use disposible mascara and lip wands- NO double dipping! and each person should have their own disposible sponge when applying moisturizer or foundation
Wedding day Tips!
Brides, my advice is, do not do any drastic changes before wedding day! Tanning, or any cosmetic reconstruction should be placed on hold. If you are having the airbrushing, do not have sideburns waxed or threading done on face, with the exception of lips and eyebrow. It creats lines on face!
If you are considering getting a facial, do not have extractions done a week before the wedding, save chemical peels and microdermabrasion treatments at least one month prior to the wedding, or save those treatments for after the wedding.
Have bride and party arrive on time so makeup artist can work according to the schedule of time provided.
Make sure all bridesmaid and brides come clean and free of makeup on the wedding day.
Lipstick doesn't last, so either bring your own or inquire if your makeup artist sells the lipstick.
