The wedding cake is the centerpiece of your reception: All eyes will be on it, especially when you and your groom cut the first slice. Hiring the right wedding baker is the key to creating a beautiful and delicious wedding cake.

A few important things to consider when looking for a bakery:

1.  Price – Of course you have to choose a baker that is in your budget, but you should not base your choice on price alone.  Make sure you look at what you are getting for your money, and not just the cost per serving.  Things to consider include, amount of tiers, detail of decor and/or design included in your quote. Many times, a quote received from another baker might be less expensive, however when compared to what a bride is getting from Tracy's Cakes; Tracy's Cakes in is generally much more value for the price.

2.  Taste – Any reputable baker will offer FREE consultations which include a tasting.  Keep in mind that if the cakes do not taste good at the consultation, you should mark that baker off your list immediately.

3.  Cake Servings – Many bakers will try to sell you too much cake.  Be cautious and listen to all the information.  Remember, if you are serving food and/or alcohol that will dramatically affect  the amount of servings needed. e amount of cake you need.
