My wedding was back in October, and this review is long overdue but much needed. Let me just say that Tabitha's buttercream icing reminds me of how my mama and great grandma make their icing which is hard to beat in my opinion. My husband and I absolutely loved our wedding cake from Cakes by Design. Every single wedding guest raved about how our wedding cake was the best cake they've ever had out of any wedding attended. We couldn't agree more! Not only was Tabitha an amazing baker for our wedding, but she was also patient and accommodating. Such great customer service is hard to come by especially while serving great desserts at an affordable price! If you are looking for a baker that can backup the flavor and bring quality service, then you definitely need to book Cakes by Design by Tabitha.

Tabitha was amazing. The cakes were delicious and she even helped me locate a special cake topper that I was trying to find.

This is the second cake I have ordered from Cakes by Design and both have been EXCELLENT! The flavors were delicious and extremely moist. The design was just the way I explained it and I was very happy with every aspect! I cant wait for another event so we can order another fantastic cake.

Cake Design did a beautiful job on my son’s engagement cake. We coordinated everything by phone and email, and they provided perfect flavor recommendations and executed the design flawlessly. My son rated it 10/10, and even his newly engaged friend wanted to know who made it!

Tabitha was so easy to work with for our wedding cake! Our first meeting we went over design ideas, inspo, cake tasting, and pricing. Ultimately our cake was 3 layers and 3 flavors. It was beautiful and just as expected! Thank you, Tabitha!

Tabitha was one of my favorite vendors we worked with! She was always responsive and worked diligently to make sure our cakes turned out exactly how we wanted them. From the initial tasting appointment to the big day, her attention to detail was incredible. Cakes by Design helped make our day so special and we will be forever grateful!

Tabitha was amazing from tasting to set up the day of. She took the vision we had and made it work. I had the flowers and topper ready and she took care of getting everything put together. It looked beautiful! But more importantly, it tasted AMAZING. The bottom layer was cinnamon cake with cream cheese filling and the two other layers were white chocolate cake with raspberry filling The cakes were so moist! I have no idea how she had cakes that moist sitting atop one another with pillars no less! There wasn't a single piece of the white chocolate left and the only reason we had any cinnamon left was because our catering team didn't realize there was another flavor and didn't cut it right away. But what was cut was eaten. We cut all the remaining cake into slices and froze them individually and a week later they are still moist and delicious Highly recommend!

Tabitha was a joy to work with. All the cake was gone afterwards- it was delicious! She even branched out to make a lavender cake for my wedding day, it was so tasty. She nailed it!

Almost didn’t go to our cake tasting. We had hired a caterer who because he was awarded the contract to host my daughters wedding, caterer said he would throw in the cake for free!
and who doesn’t like free stuff!
But we tasted caterers cake and we’ll it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t his specialty either.
Luckily my daughter had not canceled our cake tasting with Cakes by Design.
We were blown away! All her flavors were exceptional!! We called the caterer right away and said, thanks but no thanks.
Cakes by Design was, professional, affordable, but above all spectacular in flavor, richness and scrumptious.
Our guests were blown away!! Not a crumb left!!
