I just have to say it... I think I have the best job!
I get to photograph amazing people, traditions and ceremonies every week. Brides and grooms quickly stop being "clients" and become good friends. I bond with all my couples and continue that friendship long after the pictures have been printed. It’s one of the most rewarding parts of my job.
I love each moment of the wedding day and strive to capture it without being pushy, in the way, or forcing things. I am respectful of the ceremony space and your guests. The ultimate compliment I can get is, "You were there, but you weren’t." The photographs should tell the story of the day without needing any words, and without anyone knowing I was even there.
My photographic style is eclectic- I have a strong emphasis on a photojournalistic style but mixed in is traditional and artistic. Each wedding is different and I tailor my photography to the needs of each couple.
I am a proud member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WJPA), Professional Photographer’s Association (PPA) and the National Press Photographer’s Association (NPPA), as well as a participant of The Maine Workshops (MPW).
