Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
We offer black and white, hand- coloring, sepia, and color prints. All prints available with special linen, pebble, glossy, and metallic finishes at no extra charge.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
Shooting weddings primarily outside (as that seems to be the new trend vs. churches and buildings) we shoot in sunlight, clouds, even rain. Whatever we get presented with on your special day is what we work with.
Is your media preference film or digital?
All of our staff's cameras are digital.
How many photographers do you work with?
We currently have 3 photographers on hand. I am the primary photographer on every wedding with one of our other photographers as a secondary. Having 2 photographers to shoot your wedding allows for 2 different perspectives and twice the memories captured.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes. I will always be the primary photographer at every event i schedule.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes. We have a total of 3 photographers always ready to go.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
2 digital cameras, 5 different lenses, a large flash and softbox and a secondary flash which creates more dimension and a beautiful glow.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Always.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
We have packages designed for hourly rates and packages that cover a full day, for whatever your budget may allow.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
We do shoot overtime. We like to stay as long as you need us. We charge $50 per hour that we stay overtime.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
If there is a quiet time during the reception while the wedding party is eating, we will find a quiet spot to eat our meal. Other than that, we do not take breaks. We consider ourselves on- the - clock until we leave.
Do you charge for travel?
We love to travel! Just tell us the location you have chosen. We only charge after the first 30 miles from our studio. After that, we charge $0.25 per mile
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Retouched proofs are always up for viewing and purchase within 1 week of your event.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Retouched proofs are always available online under our 'Proofs' section. you may request a book of all proofs, thumbnail size, or 4x6 prints of all images, for an additional cost.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
If you would like your wedding proofs printed in either a book or 4x6 prints, you may purchase those and they will be yours to keep. We also offer DVD's of all your wedding proofs.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
We do retain the copyright of all our images. But if you would like to purchase a printable disc of all your retouched photos, we will sign a release so that you can print, copy, email, etc.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Each client may sign a form allowing us to publish photos at our discretion.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes. All retouched images will be provided online for viewing and purchase.
What kind of albums do you offer?
We have a stunning array of albums. From silk to ostrich leather and canvas, we offer it all. Choose a more traditional leather album with beautiful matting, or a more contemporary album with silk binding and personally- designed pages. When will the client get the final album?
Your final album will be delivered ASAP. We like to design every page with you, so you get your fairy- tale album thats sure to impress. After design, you should receive your album in 1- 2 weeks.
