Hello, I am Gina Alcantara, founder and owner of G-n-G Designs! G-n-G Designs is a leading wedding florist in the Chicagoland and southern Wisconsin area.  It is a home-based business allowing me to keep competitive prices for quality and modern designs.   I have built my business on personal service and quality design at affordable prices. My 17 year experience includes designing wedding flowers on the Las Vegas Strip at an Historical wedding Chapel and being the lead wedding designer at many shops across the nation.  I started G-n-G Designs with a passion for floral design and absolutely love what I do!  I am grateful to have the opportunity to add my touch to such an important and memorable day.  I look forward to making your wedding day unforgettably beautiful!

Can I see your past work?  Yes, I have a portfolio with hundreds of pictures to look through at your complimentary consultation.

Since you are work from home, do you have refrigeration to keep the flowers fresh?  Yes, I do.  I have a large floral cooler and an entire refrigerated room when needed.

Do you take more than one wedding per day?  I typically perform one wedding per day.   If I have a small order that requires little delivery I will allow another order.

Do you have packages?  No, your order will be tailored to exactly what you need with no hidden costs.

Do you rent glass?  Yes,  I have some large glass that is rentable if a minimum of pieces is met.

My venue will only work with vendors who are insured, are you?  Yes, I am an insured vendor!

Is this your side job?  No, this is my passion and my business.  Floral has always been my career and main focus since the start!

How far do you delivery?  I deliver as far north as Milwaukee, WI and as far south as Joliet, IL.

To achieve a modern and clean look use the bridesmaids dress as a backdrop and use a contrast color as the flowers.  Example- a Platinum dress with a bouquet of deep burgundy Calla Lilies.  Or an aqua dress with a ball of black magic Roses.  Also instead of trying to match ribbon to dresses match the flowers instead.  Example the burgundy Calla Lilies wrapped in burgundy.

Add some personalization to your bouquets!  Crystals, colored pearl pins, fairy dust, brooches, rosaries, rhinestone buckles are some examples.

Consider your timeline of the big day.  If you're taking pictures outdoors hours prior to the ceremony in a hot month pick durable flowers such as mini Calla Lilies and Roses and avoid fragile heat sensitive flowers such as Hydrangea.
