Stella Grey Blooms is a Chicago Floral Boutique that caters to small to medium size weddings (up to 250 guests) and offers traditional to contemporary to trend setting floral designs for your Chicago wedding. We have small minimums and can work with most budgets.
With a background in fashion and interior design, the owner Sally Papedis turns her creative talents to floral designs. Her attention to detail, color and balance (and sometimes off-balance) can be seen in what she refers to as "floral art". Sally teams up Nancy Konstantos, a drummer in a local punk band, that has over 25 years of experience in the floral industry. They share the same creative vision in floral design - that sometimes you need to learn the rules to break them to create something truly unique.

I came to Sally with a vision of what I wanted for my bouquet. From there, she was able to create all of my floral needs for my wedding.
I had really struggled with what to put in the alter backdrop. I wanted something that wouldn't take away from the big moment, but also be a beautiful accent. She came up with this stunning floral wall that turned out to be perfect and gave the exact feel I wanted. Sally has proved herself to be my forever florist. In additon to her beautiful designs, she's also a really wonderful person! I look forward to doing more business with her and her team! 😍

Communication was easy and consistent throughout the planning process and the team went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we were hoping for-- they even sent us pictures of mock centerpieces to help our vision come to life. Sally and her staff were personal, patient, and beautifully passionate about what they do.
On the day of our August 2018 wedding, we were simply blown away by all of the floral elements. The peach-y bouquets were personalized and detailed, the eucalyptus boutineers were exactly what we envisioned, the centerpieces made the reception room come to life, and the cascading flower statement piece at the head table was truly magical. Sally and her staff worked with our venue and paid attention to every detail throughout the day. We were so excited to see everything come together and could not have been happier with the outcome.
We will forever be grateful for Stella Grey Blooms and the wonderful job they did on helping our dream wedding come true. We continue to sing their praise with family, friends, and neighbors and would highly recommend them to everyone.

One of the best vendors I used for my wedding. Not only was the end product beautiful and exactly what I wanted, the amount of patience and guidance helping me decide on the most cost efficient flowers and design was amazing.
