Kate and Sarah at Flora were amazing. They listened closely to our preferences and offered some great suggestions. The floral arrangements and bouquet were stunning…the designs exceeded our expectations. We loved the fact that they are a local Lakeview florist and that we could support their business. I would not hesitate to use their floral services again.

Flora exceeded my expectations ABOVE and BEYOND. Seriously, my jaw dropped when we walked into the venue before our guests. I chose Flora because they are one of the few Chicago florists who do not require a minimum $ (we did not have bridesmaids and groomsmen), were affordable, and are located in my neighborhood. I worked with Sarah mostly and sent her pictures of tropical flowers with vague instructions about how I wanted bright colors and a very large bridal bouquet. WOW did she deliver. I received SO many compliments on my bouquet and the reception flowers (a few small arrangements and bud vases on the tables). Sarah was also able to make pocket boutonnières of tropical flowers which also received a lot of compliments. Honestly, I don't know how they did it with our budget but trust these women - they know what they are doing!! It is hard to impress me and I was blown away.

Randy and Flora were one of the best choices I made for our wedding. Randy worked with me from the moment I met him up until my wedding day to help me get the flowers and look I wanted, all staying within my budget. When I saw the flowers that day I was surprised because they were even better than what I had imagined! Many, Many people commented on how great the flowers were and how beautiful the color scheme was. You will not regret choosing Flora for your wedding florist. And if you get the chance, work with Randy!

I would give 10 stars if I could! My wedding florist did not show up on the morning of my wedding. We got in touch with Flora and Kate quickly jumped to action. Within just a few hours, Kate helped my friends find flowers and put together aisle arrangements, bouquets, centerpieces, and more. She was so sweet and the flowers looked incredible. Our guests had no idea of the morning drama. I can not thank Kate enough for saving my big day. My only regret is not finding and hiring Flora from day 1.

Kate was so so helpful and great with our wedding florals. I'm so glad we trusted her with our decor! She was always willing to brainstorm with us, and really took our ideas and brought them to life.

Before I met Gretchen I had talked to three other florists -- I was thrilled to find her to be a breath of fresh air. I had no wedding party, a modest reception, and a limited budget and had started feeling like the previous florists weren't interested in my comparatively meager needs. Gretchen immediately made me feel that my expectations were reasonable and that I could have beautiful floral treatments within the budget I required.
She was easy to work with -- full of suggestions and ideas. She offered alternatives when things needed to be adjusted for the sake of budget, taste, or logistics. She was creative in her problem solving and made me feel as though I wasn't skimping on anything.
She was a gracious presence throughout the wedding planning. I believed that she was excited about working with me and truly wanted Flora's presence at the wedding to enhance the day for everyone involved. It was nice to feel so confident in my choice of florist.
My wedding day went by quickly, but I remember her wishing me well and being excited about my wedding day. She was also kind and gentle with my mother and grandmother as she put on their corsages.
I feel that everything turned out wonderfully -- the bouquet, corsages, ceremony flowers, centerpieces, cake. They were minimal and casual, yet, I believe, still looked elegant and rich.
As far as cost goes, I believe Flora is on par with other florists I spoke with, if not a bit more economical. I feel this is largely due to their generous policy to allow rental of votives and vases instead of requiring us to purchase them. I'm quite happy I didn't have to deal with distributing or gathering 100 votives and 30 vases at the end of the evening.

Flora was amazing. From our initial meeting I KNEW we were on the same page. Everything they suggested filled in the gaps where I wasn't sure about something perfectly. What they created was exactly what I imagined - except better. And their customer service is impeccable. They were totally flexible in terms of dropping of flowers for the wedding party at a different location from the venue, so wonderful. I felt like we were working with close friends who truly cared about us. I know they did.

We worked with Randy from Flora and he was fantastic! He created modern, textured arrangements that were stunning (and affordable). He was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.
