Not only did all of the pieces turn out beautifully (and they were all affordable!) but the Primrose team also accommodated me every step of the way, taking into account my particular preferences and vision. I had reached out with a specific idea in mind and they brought it to life beautifully. And from start to finish, they were so kind and communicative-- they even hosted me and my sister for a complimentary "Build Your Bouquet" night, where I came in person to show them exactly the greenery / flowers I was looking for, which was a ton of fun. Primrose Chicago did a beautiful job with the flowers for my wedding! They were so friendly, accommodating, and easy to work with throughout the process of nailing down our wedding floral needs and the aesthetic for the flowers. I'm a very visual person, so I especially appreciated that they really tuned into the specific visual vibe I was trying to describe. My bridal bouquet was everything I'd hoped for and more. Primrose Chicago was also super reasonable with their pricing, and generously helped craft a proposal that fit within our limited budget. On the day of the wedding, I was actually blown away by the fullness and volume of the flowers they provided--given the tightness of our budget, it was more than I had expected! It was all so lush and beautiful; I felt like they went above and beyond for us. They also did a great job with the setup of everything, and were very kind in delivering our flowers to multiple locations to accommodate different floral needs between our getting-ready location, ceremony site, and separate reception venue!

Leah and her team did an amazing job capturing our vision. We got compliments on florals and decor all night long. I originally wanted a flower that wasn't in season, Leah did a wonderful job suggesting flowers that would have a similar look, I ended up liking them better. I got to invite my 2 maid of honors to a build a bouquet where we picked the flowers we liked most and put it together. It was so perfect picking the combinations I got to see with my eyes what worked and what didn't. The bouquet was totally me. They also put flowers in lanterns which my bridesmaids carried. They looked flawless. It turned out better than I could ever imagine. They also suggested use use lanterns as decor during the reception, it worked out wonderfully! I had 2 extra lanterns, they were extremely creative and tied them to the arch I rented from them. The flowers lasted all day long, through first looks walking around Chicago till all through the night. They are kind, extremely commnucative and professional. Very affordable. Definitely recommend!

I loved working with Primrose!!! Leah was so great in coordinating with me and helping me build my bouquet / center pieces of my dreams! Leah and the team at Primrose are everything you could want in a wedding florist and more. They were one of our best vendor selections - if you can work with them, you absolutely should. 

I didn't know much about flowers or floral design going into my wedding, I just had a few inspirational photos and a general idea of what I was looking for. Through our initial quote conversation and the truly next level 'Build a Bouquet' day, I saw my vision come to life in the most fulfilling way, and was able to see exactly what my bouquet would look like on my wedding day. I don't know of any other florist that offers a service like this. 

The attention to detail, the customization and level of personalization I received during the build a bouquet day really ensured our florals would be exactly what I was looking for, and entirely unique to our wedding. 

Finally, it was really important to me that I have gardenias included in my wedding - they're important to my grandmother and I wanted to wear them in my hair, and include them on her corsage. While difficult to source and a difficult flower to keep looking fresh, I received TWO hair gardenias and TWO corsages - one fresh and one preserved of each to ensure they would look perfect throughout the day and night. 

Leah and the team really go above and beyond to ensure your day is exactly what you're looking for, and we could not have been happier. Definitely hire Primrose for all of your wedding floral needs! 

Like many couples the past year, my husband and I were in the middle of planning our dream wedding when COVID hit and we decided to push our date a full year. In the middle of all this, we came across Primrose florist here in Chicago. My initial consultation with Leah made me feel very at ease, she understands the wedding industry very well, and she had great recommendations to try to give us options within our budget. At her floral shop, she let me come in and play around with different flowers in my palette to 'build my bouquet' and pull together beautiful and unique arrangements that were more beautiful than any of the Pinterest photos I was trying to play off of. On the day of our wedding, we had so many compliments on the flowers, and I knew that I was in good hands with Leah and her staff. There are no words to say how beautiful of how they styled and designed at my wedding with their fresh floral. They made sure they were on time and got everything done without bothering me; the bride. When I walked into the venue, I was shocked, surprised and happy to see what was created. This place is an absolute godsend for weddings. Leah (the owner) literally saved my wedding multiple (that's right, MULTIPLE) times. I know my review is long, but Primrose Chicago is JUST.THAT.GOOD:

-I planned my wedding for over a year, and a month and half before the day of the wedding, my original florist canceled on me. Leah took the job a month before the wedding and she blew it out of the park!

-Leah contacted all my vendors to make everything go smoothly (bakery, church, reception hall) -She became my assistant wedding planner!

-Bakery screwed up my order and didn't decorate my wedding cake...it's a freaking wedding cake, why wouldn't I want it decorated?! You think I want a plain looking cake for my WEDDING?! It was Leah who found out the day before the wedding (she had called them to make sure everything was set, thank god) and had let me know. And as I was about to cry, Leah saved me again and told me she would decorate my wedding cake THE DAY OF THE WEDDING, AT THE RECEPTION HALL, as soon as it was delivered (there was no time to do it anywhere else), and it was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! I have never seen a wedding cake as beautiful as mine and it was the 2nd best screw up that could have happened to my wedding! The first was my florist abandoning me.

-I was a bit of a bridezilla and kept changing my mind on which flowers I wanted. Leah made THREE different custom samples with each one becoming more and more beautiful. When Leah showed me the third sample, I fell in love and knew it was perfect. What's more, Leah told me that if I wasn't happy, she could make more samples for me. These people do not pressure you to fit into a cookie cutter mold. They are patient, friendly, and actually committed to making your flowers perfect for YOUR wedding.

-Most importantly, EVERYONE loved all the arrangements and bouquets. All my bridesmaids and wedding guests complimented me, my husband (who didn't care/help me) and even my in-laws (extra brownie points!). The wedding guests even stole all the arrangements and floral table settings! A guest even asked for a bridesmaid's bouquet to take home!

I had an amazing experience with Primrose! After needing to scale down our wedding ceremony significantly (thanks covid) i found myself in need of a florist who could help with a relatively quick turnaround. Leah was so helpful and executed everything perfectly! She was very collaborative - I got to come into the shop and help choose flowers for everything. Highly recommend!!!
