Tips and Advice

The best advice I think we can offer to anyone looking for a photographer to capture their wedding memories, is to hire a professional photographer who is experienced in photographing weddings.  Wedding photography is probably the most challenging job a photographer can have.  Experience photographing all kinds of venues and lighting situations is vitally important to taking great wedding pictures!  We have heard countless horror stories about the "bargain" photographers our clients’ friends and family members decided to hire.  Your wedding photography is an investment that you will not regret if you hire a pro!  So, bottom line...even if you don’t choose us, please, please, please make sure the photographer you choose is a full-time professional wedding photographer who has many years of experience photographing weddings!

Make sure to give your photographer a list of must-have shots for the wedding day.  Eventhough we have two photographers at every wedding, and are very good at capturing just about everything, we might now know that your favorite great aunt from Alaska will be at your wedding, and you absolutely want a photograph taken with her!  Giving your photographer a list of unusual and must-have shots will ensure you have all the images you desire!

Consider taking many of the "formal" images of family and bridal party before the ceremony.  This can be done without the two of you seeing each other before the ceremony, and only leaves the big group formals and of course, portraits of the two of you, to be taken after the ceremony.  This will ultimately relieve a great deal of stress...and get you to your reception on time!

Remember...it’s your wedding day...so just relax, and have the time of your life!!!
