But even if you think you've providing enough information, your loved ones will likely have even more questions. Creating a wedding website FAQ (frequently asked questions) section allows you to answer queries you're hearing most often from your wedding guests—from dress code info to the RSVP deadline, and much more. This is particularly essential if you're hosting a wedding amid the COVID pandemic, as they'll likely be health and safety information you need to share. Here's a list of potential questions and answers to include on your wedding website FAQ page so you can avoid a deluge of texts and emails in the days leading up to your event.
Wedding Website FAQs
Feel free to use this as a template as you create your website's FAQ section. Remember that the basic wedding information (date, time, location, etc.) should be listed on your website's main home page, so there's no need to include it here, as well.
1. What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
While the official wedding ceremony start time will be listed on your invitations, your guests may want to know how early they can and should arrive. To answer this FAQ, talk to your venue about when the doors will open and guests will be allowed to enter the space. You can then recommend that guests arrive 15 minutes or so before the official ceremony start time so they can get settled before the proceedings.
2. What is the dress code?
"What should I wear?" is probably the most-asked question you'll receive in the weeks leading up to your wedding day. You can't play fashion consultant for everyone on your guest list, but you can provide some additional information on in your wedding website FAQ section. If you included a dress code on your wedding invitation, provide some specific examples of what it means (Semi-formal: Cocktail dresses and jumpsuits, dark suits and ties, etc.). If you didn't provide a dress code, give guests an idea of what would be appropriate to wear to your event (sundresses, polo shirts, and slacks or shorts for a beach casual wedding, for example). The more specific you can be about attire, the more helpful to your loved ones.

6. How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?
Yes, providing a direction card with your invitations is a nice gesture, but in reality, your guests will most likely lose it. While most everyone has a GPS these days, it's a good idea to provide your guests with directions on your website in case they forget the address or have other issues on the day of. If you're providing a shuttle or other transportation to and from your venue(s), now's the time to share those details, including timing and pickup and drop-off locations.
7. Is there parking available at the wedding venue?
For guests who will be driving themselves, parking information is key. Does your venue have its own lot/garage, will there be valet, or are guests expected to find their own parking? If the latter, provided a list of suggested parking lots and/or garages is helpful.
8. Can I bring my kids?
This is another question you'll often hear during the wedding planning process. If you're choosing a blanket no-kids policy, you can say something like: "Due to [space/constraints or safety restrictions], we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding."

A nice reply would be: "Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience."

This is where it gets tricky. Only events that all guests are invited to should be included on your wedding website. So, you may want to skip this question, or if there are events that everyone's invited to (a welcome happy hour or a post-wedding brunch), you can include those here.

While some of your guests may want to party all night, others (particularly older guests and those with young children), will need to know when the event will be over. And if you're hosting an after-party, you can share the information here, too.

In fact, you may want to include a separate wedding website FAQ section or send out an email devoted solely to COVID-related procedures. Whether you're asking your guests to be vaccinated and/or tested before your event, sharing mask and social distancing information, or any other rules you and your vendors are enforcing, it's best to let your guests know in advance so they'll know what to expect.
