This outdoor wedding venue in the San Diego area truly embodies the best of both worlds—the lush tropical feel of a garden venue, with all of the amenities and convenience of a hotel. The hotel’s courtyard features gorgeous tropical greenery, colorful flowers, a koi pond, and even a waterfall. You could host your reception completely outdoors, or enjoy one of the hotel’s well-appointed ballrooms, which can host up to 150 guests. One of our favorite details of the garden wedding venues in San Diego is the Spanish architecture, and this lovely hotel in Torrey Pines has it in spades. You’ll fall in love with the garden here, which feature bougainvillea, olive trees, fountains, and more. Host your ceremony on the Olive Lawn or in the lush Garden Courtyard. Your reception can take place in the La Jolla Ballroom (great for larger weddings of up to 420 guests), or the Grande Room (which has a capacity of 130 guests). More intimate celebrations of 60 guests or fewer can take place in the Adobe El Restaurante or the Trinitas Cellars Private Dining Room.

Among our favorite wedding venues in San Diego are historic homes that include gardens. The Darlington House is one of the most sought-after spaces, and it’s absolutely charming. In fact, this garden wedding venue in San Diego has won a WeddingWire Couple’s Choice Award for three years in a row. The Spanish-style architecture is absolutely gorgeous and there are several garden venues to choose from for your ceremony and reception. The Andalusian Patio, with its Spanish tile floor and Roman arches, is ideal for a small and intimate ceremony, while the greenery-filled Egyptian Patio can host slightly larger ceremony. The Rose Garden is a picturesque spot for outdoor receptions, and can host up to 200 guests. This venue hosts just one event per day, so you’ll have the entire space to yourself for ultimate privacy.

The venue has lots of gorgeous backdrops for photos (we particularly love the stone bridge) and offers the ability to host your wedding entirely outdoors.

Prices start at just $33 per guest. The garden itself features koi ponds and bonsai trees, and the indoor reception space has a modern feel that you and your guests will love.
