Burnt Out Lodge Montana wedding venue

Burnt Out Lodge

This rental home has a unique history. When a forest fire swept through the property in 1994, the owners were left wondering how to move forward and turn their situation into something positive. While looking at all of the burnt trees surrounding their ranch, it came to them: they could use the charred tree trunks to build a log cabin. And thus, Burnt Out Lodge was born! The venue is available to host weddings year round and can accommodate small or large parties. Burnt Out Lodge sits on a 3,000-acre working cattle ranch in Big Sky Country, providing unbeatable views of Montana's beautiful scenery. For your convenience, the house has six bedrooms to accommodate up to 16 people overnight, so your wedding party or family members will already be at the venue when the big day arrives. There is also a commercial-style kitchen, a charming hillside garden and a pond, with the main town of Big Timber just 10 minutes away.

Averill's Flathead Lake Lodge

This rustic waterfront venue, located on the shores of Flathead Lake in the northwestern part of the state, is one of our favorite wedding locations in Montana. Averill's Flathead Lake Lodge has been operated by the Averill family for three generations and has become a favorite vacation spot for guests who return year after year. If you're dreaming of an outdoor ceremony, a spacious green lawn at the water's edge is one of the prettiest settings you can find. Union Pacific Dining Lodge

We're obsessed with this craftsman-style venue located in West Yellowstone. Our favorite part about this historical building, which dates back to 1925, is the huge stone fireplace—it would be the perfect backdrop for an indoor ceremony or behind the head table during the reception. Exposed wood ceiling beams give the space plenty of character, while industrial floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of natural light and provide amazing mountainous views. The maximum guest capacity at Union Pacific Dining Lodge is 200 people, and the venue is available from mid-May to mid-October.
