We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue than The Cabins at Blacktail in Lakeside, MT. The property is absolutely stunning — surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and nature, it created the perfect, peaceful backdrop for our wedding day. Julie, the owner, was truly wonderful to work with. She was incredibly helpful, responsive, and kind throughout the entire planning process. From the beginning, she made us feel supported and at ease, which made such a difference during what can be a stressful time. Everything went smoothly, and we always felt confident knowing Julie was there to help. If you’re looking for a beautiful Montana venue with an amazing host who truly cares, we can’t recommend The Cabins at Blacktail enough.

Our wedding day was truly flawless, and it all began with this incredible venue. From the moment we toured, we knew it was the perfect place to say "I do." The staff paid such careful attention to every detail, ensuring that the day ran smoothly from start to finish. Their thoughtful coordination and the little touches we hadn’t even considered made all the difference and showed how much they genuinely care about creating a beautiful experience for every couple. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. The views are unmatched—whether you’re saying your vows with the picturesque hills in the background or celebrating under a starlit sky, every moment felt like a dream. The blend of natural beauty and the team’s expert care made our day unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a more stunning location or more attentive service. If you want a venue that goes above and beyond, this is it. We highly recommend it—10/10!

My husband and I were married at this BEAUTIFUL location, and we couldn't have had a better experience. The venue was so well located, close enough to Bigfork for guests to stay overnight at. It also had a gorgeous waterfall that we had our ceremony in front of. As for the reception, there was enough space for over 200 guests to fit comfortably, and the FOOD was absolutely delicious. We received MANY compliments for our reception meal, and we couldn't get enough of it. Bobbi, the event planner for us, was extremely easy to communicate with, and she worked tirelessly to make sure our day was perfect. Any concerns we had, she answered them right away as we prepared our wedding away from Bigfork. The owners are some of the most gracious people we have ever had the opportunity of knowing, and we truly believe you wouldn't be happier with any other place but here. It's true Montana beauty and charm, but also classy and elegant. We will be recommending this place to anyone and everyone!

The Union Pacific Dining Lodge was the perfect venue for our dream wedding. The Groom is from Montana and my family is mostly from the East Coast - so it was really amazing to be close to the entrance to Yellowstone. The venue itself is huge, definitely can fit a wedding of over 400 but our wedding was 150ish and we felt cozy but not swimming in the venue. In the larger room there is a huge fireplace that you can have going. Additionally, there is a smaller room (the Firehole) that we used for cocktails and has a bar area and another fireplace. Additional items to note: cute little bridal suite, huge kitchen with everything your caterer needs, almost every type of glasses for the bar (we brought mason jars for beers). Also, all the tables and chairs are provided, including cocktail tables. Rentals are where they get you! So this was perfect for our budget. The pricing includes 48 hours of use, so we used the venue for the rehearsal dinner too. The staff are easy to work with and will make sure you have everything you need! The only con is that the venue is not insulated. It's an old building and has a few heaters but we also brought our own electric heaters. We had our wedding on Sept 28 and it snowed and was 30 degrees most of the weekend. But surprisingly we were not cold at all :)

Our daughter was married at the lodge in March 2023, and Monica went above and beyond to make it a special weekend. She was very accommodating before the event so we could check out the cabins and lodge and plan for the big day. While we were in the midst of the craziness of decoration and preparing, she was available and very helpful. Sugarloaf Lodge and Cabins has a beautiful location, no matter what season! Staying at the location the night before and after the event was also very fun for the wedding party and immediate family. The skiing across the street was wonderful. We didn't feel any pressure to finish cleaning up at night when we were exhausted. We had plenty of time and could be present through the entire reception. Highly recommend Sugarloaf Lodge as a perfect spot for a beautiful off the grid wedding!

I got married here in July of 2019, and this venue is as good as it gets! The staff are simply wonderful, down-to-earth, and make you feel valued. The guests loved the scenery, Cindy is absolutely incredible from start to finish, and GRH made our day special. I could not have asked for better service, especially considering reviews I read for other venues. My eight bridesmaids and I also stayed in the treehouses on site, which were fabulous. Clean, comfy, spacious, and wonderful for the day-of or other out-of-town visitors. A++++++++++ times a million. If you're considering Gallatin River Hideaway, just commit and book it!

Our wedding at this venue was absolutely incredible. The host is a fantastic family, communicated as one would hope, the grounds are stunning and made for the perfect backdrop for both our ceremony and photos. The barn is rustic but still elegant and created such a warm, inviting atmosphere for our reception. The stage setup for the live band was fantastic and really elevated the entire night. Everything came together perfectly, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate.

Writing this review is going to make me emotional... We were so lucky to have the Ann Marie, Paul, and the team at WMR as our coordinators/vendors. From the moment we selected our wedding weekend to the day after our wedding, WMR proved their experience in weddings through thorough check ins/communication, their incredible attention to detail, their organization, and their goal to make our wedding special and fun. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect day & weekend. Ann Marie made wedding planning feel effortless. She was there every step of the way and I can say that I truly made a friend in Ann Marie. She's the best! And Paul has incredible communication. He helped with booking details and housing for our wedding party and our guests. I cannot recommend this venue and this team enough. I would plan 100 more weddings just to work with them again!

We absolutely loved our experience with 320. The team was truly incredible, the venue was perfect, and our guests had a wonderful time. Brittany was so responsive and helpful and everyone during our wedding weekend went above and beyond to make it amazing. If you're thinking about getting married at 320, don't wait - DO IT!
