  The BEST choice we made for our wedding

  We really cannot explain in words how amazing Sarah is and how important she was for our wedding. From day one at our engagement shoot, we had an instant connection. She is a true professional and artist, you can see it in the way she can scope out the most perfect angle and shot and think of different ways to capture things that only a true artist could come up with. Apart from our photos being absolutely breathtaking, Sarah is literally beyond efficient with her photo delivery (which we don't get because every photo was BEAUTIFUL and there were so many!!). She helped calm me down during the wedding day and beyond being our dream wedding photographer, we are so grateful to also be able to call her our friend!! She is our go to for every future photography venture w have. We love you, Sarah!!!

  If you don't hire Sarah you're missing out!

  Sarah is honestly one of the best choices, if not the very best, I made in wedding planning. Not only is her art breathtaking, she herself is a breath of fresh air. She helped style our engagement shoot which was just so creative and awesome. She went out of her way to accommodate my schedule since I live out of town. She gave me honest advice whether it was styling, timeline of the wedding day, or other vendor choices. On the day of the wedding my family and bridal party absolutely loved her. She got me the wedding and engagement photos back in LIGHTING speed. That woman works! I felt like I could trust her and she actually had my back. I would recommend her to everyone I know that not only wants a wedding photographer, but baby or family photos... you should see her "Kiddos" photography ... it will bring a tear to your eye. Sarah is just a rare, special and kind person. You will be missing out if you don't hire her.

  Sarah and Purple Fern Photography was Amazing!

  Sarah was absolutely AMAZING to work with in every way! We are so glad that we choose Purple Fern Photography for our wedding and engagement pictures. The photos are stunning and we’ve gotten so many compliments. Sarah’s creative eye and artistic style made our pictures so special. They’re truly works of art and we love all of them so much. Her attention to detail and natural light is impeccable. Not only are her picture amazing, but Sarah is so enthusiastic and fun to work with! She made us feel comfortable in awkward positions through her sense of humor and little games. She also gave us great direction, which resulted in amazing photos. Sarah made us feel like models when we were taking them and it was such a blast.
  
  Sarah helped with our day of timeline and I’m so glad that she did. We were able to fit in all of the pictures that we wanted before the wedding so that we could enjoy visiting with our guests during cocktail hour. Sarah and Carla agreed to stay an hour later into our wedding celebration which we were so thankful for. We got behind schedule and that extra hour made all the difference.

  Sarah was a pleasure to work with and our wedding pictures are breathtakingly beautiful! She was creative, fun, and got our pictures back to us in 8 days! I could not believe her turn around time. With the package we also got an engagement shoot. It was so helpful to meet her and actually do a photography session before the big day. This gave us the chance to get to know her so we were comfortable during our wedding pictures. Sarah took the time to make sure we got the perfect shots on our big day. We went to multiple locations at our venue to get the best pictures. She got perfect formal portraits, and candid pictures that I will cherish forever. She was great to work with in the planning process also. She was always easy to get in touch with and very responsive to questions. I am an over-planner and she was willing to go over our timeline multiple times until I felt comfortable. I am so glad we used The Purple Fern for out wedding photography. I would recommend her to everyone, and will definitely be using her for our other photography needs!

  The most value you will find in a wedding vendor!

  I researched over 5 photographers all local to the DMV area. I loved the vivid colors and photography of purple fern but didn't want to break the bank on photography as I also wanted video footage. Purple Fern's photography was priced the lowest of all the vendors I looked at and Sarah's style was my favorite so I considered it a HUGE WIN. Sarah took our engagement photos as well which was great because we got to know her prior to the wedding. She made us feel comfortable within the first 30 seconds of meeting her and we had a blast taking the photos even though it was chilly out. Other than value, I recommend all brides to use Purple Fern because of the PROMPT delivery of the wedding photos. Sarah sent us the link to the edited photos within 4 days of our wedding. My other bride friends waited as long as 6 months for their photo so this is a huge selling point when considering which photographer to book. You will not be disappointment with Sarah/Purple Fern Photography!
