    Having Ali as our photographer truly felt like being around a friend on our wedding day! Her laid back style made working with her so easy and fun. It was so apparent that she has a eye for natural lighting, and just capturing genuine moments. She would just seem to get a vision for a beautiful picture or background, place us there, and then go with it. My husband is not someone who enjoys taking photos a lot, but he even really enjoyed our photo time with Ali, as it was so effortless! She made us feel so comfortable in front of a camera, and we could just be ourselves, which was so important as that was a big portion of our alone time on our wedding day. We loved her style where things are not forced poses, but just more natural moments. Throughout the wedding planning process, Ali was very communicative, and really put me at ease. It helps to know you have someone who is so good at what they do! I would highly recommend her, and hope to work with her again in the future for our family photo needs!

    I have been lucky enough to know Ali since college and can tell you she has been honing and perfecting her photography skills her entire life and it shows in her gorgeous pictures! She is not only beautiful inside and out, but she is the consummate professional. She made my wedding day even more special by taking the most breathtaking pictures my husband and I will cherish for years to come. She is a bride's best friend- so calm, level headed and fun the day of the wedding. We loved having her capture our special day from start to finish. Ali prides herself on her candid shots and they were some of my favorite pictures from our wedding day.
    She offers really affordable photography packages- especially in the super expensive and competitive Washington dc wedding space. Do not think because she is affordable you will be sacrificing quality- quite the opposite. I get compliments all the time about my wedding pictures. Ali is a dedicated, talented photographer who will make your wedding day pictures memorable in every way. She is very thoughtful in her approach and will put your mind at ease before, during and after your special day.

    Ali is an absolute professional with an amazing eye for beautiful photos! She was very easy going and encouraged us to be ourselves while she captured it. She's super fast, both in snapping shots (our family portraits were super quick) and in getting photos back to us: our engagements within a week and our wedding photos while we were still on our honeymoon!! I did a lot of research for a wedding photographer and was won over by Ali's beautiful photos at a reasonable price point -- and she exceeded expectations!

    Ali is an absolute joy to work with! She is pure genius and has such a vision for capturing the true moments. She sees the beauty in life and it translates into her photography! I loved getting to work with her and having her around all day. She is so easy going and let's things flow. I would recommend her work to anyone and everyone!

    Ali was made for this! Her calm nature and genuine vibes were definitely a reassuring factor on a crazy (but fun) day. She knew exactly what I wanted and took the initiative to make sure it was done and perfect at that. I really love how she focused on the natural lighting and the trees surrounding us, gorgeous! She and her assistant captured our wedding perfectly. We are so grateful for her!

    Ali was the perfect choice for our wedding photographer. We knew each other from high school and ever since Ali started her own business, I had been following her blog and pictures for years. I was thrilled when she was available to shoot our wedding and truly captured our Best. Day. Ever. Ali was always in direct communication with me regarding any questions or concerns I had and constantly kept me in the loop throughout the planning process and even the day of the wedding. Ali had the ability to be everywhere at once (thanks to her awesome 2nd photographer) and produced amazing pictures that we will cherish for years to come. Definitely recommend Ali to all Brides and Grooms and hope to use her again in the future for other photo opportunities!

    Choosing someone to capture your love in photos on your wedding day (one of the most important days of your life) is a BIG decision and I'm SO glad we chose Ali!! Not only is she an incredibly talented photographer, but she was so wonderful to work with!! She listened to what we wanted, she was very prompt and informative when we had any questions and when I described me and my husband's personalities she truly captured it! She got a great mix of some candid moments and some amazing posed shots as well. She perfectly snapped some beautiful and loving moments between me and my husband and I can't wait to use her in the future :) She is amazing and we are so glad we chose her for our special day! We will look back on these photos for years to come! Thank you, thank you from the bottoms of our hearts!

    Anyone on the hunt to find the most relaxed, professional and talented photographer, look no further, you've found your girl! Ali is a true gem who completely understands how awkward it can be to get you and your significant other in front of a lens. Instead of forcing you into uncomfortable -- not to mention, stereotypical -- poses, she lets you be yourself, and she magically captures the essence of your relationship on film. My husband and I were lucky enough to have Ali photograph our engagement and wedding, and every time we thumb through our photos we're reminded of all of the love and happiness that we felt that day. Ali has an innate gift that's hard to come by, and we're so grateful to have found her!

    Ali's photo's speak for themselves.... her pictures don't compare to any others. They are simply the best and most amazing photos. I was NEVER worried about her capturing a moment or making us look good... I completely trusted her and she exceeded our expectations. As far as her demeanor, she is SUPER sweet and accommodating. She was always available to help with a concern or to offer her advice. She makes everyone feel at ease while taking pictures and is one of the most laid back people I know. This makes her perfect for her job... WE LOVE HER!

    Ali is completely amazing at what she does and she is such a sweet person. Very professional and whatever you are looking for she can do for you. So many people have been raving about my wedding pictures and how great she was at the wedding. I highly recommend her!

    When I first met Ali it was over the phone and just the sound of her voice put me at ease. I realized months later at the wedding that that was a key factor in a successful photographer. You want someone like Ali, who captures the day without stress, worry, or by asking you a lot of questions. Ali’s style is unique and natural, something that’s hard to find with all the Photoshop work that’s too easy to mirror a moment or day that you were not even in. She is independent and creative, using light to create unique lines and frame her characters.

    Ali was very accommodating to us and switched engagement photo shoot venues due to rain from the downtown streets of Alexandria, VA to the breathtaking Great Falls National Park, MD. I only spoke with her a handful of times, yet she understood the theme of the wedding, which was rustic yet classic and fit her personality very well. Nestled in the Shenandoah Mountains, she was able to use the setting to her advantage, taking sweeping shots of the mountains using a wide-angle lens and letting the light pour in naturally behind us. The wedding included a lot of personalization and DIY which she was happy to include. She is gifted at portraits as the shots of my husband and I were the best I’ve seen out of all my friends. If I ever have a child, I hope Ali is there to catch the beauty of that period in my life.

    I wanted to take a moment to share my experience working with Ali Caudill photography. She took my husband's and my engagement and wedding photos, and it was an awesome experience. Ali has this sweet, fun, bohemian vibe going on that instantly makes you feel comfortable. The shoots were easy and never felt forced. And the pics..... We're gorgeous! She captures the moment in a very raw, organic, and romantic light. Don't know how she does it but she's amazing! Would 100% recommend her to others and we will def be using her for our future events.

    Where do I start with Ali? She was such a joy to work with and it was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. It was really important to us to hire someone who loves photography and can really capture the emotion of the wedding day. It's obvious that Ali is passionate about her job and really cares about what she does. She had a very personal touch and is so sweet and laid back. She was so easy to talk to and made us feel comfortable and at ease on the wedding day. And her photograhs speak for themselves, they are gorgeous and we will treasure ours for a lifetime. We're so luck to have such beautiful pictures from our wedding day. Also, her second shooter, Lauren Gay was amazing as well and the two of them were virtually unseen from the ceremony on. We have been to some weddings where the photogs seem to be in the way or you hear their cameras going off all night, but Ali and Lauren were an inconspicuous pair! There are many big wedding photography companies you can choose from, but Ali will provide you a much better value and strong personal touch - she appreciates the importance of the day and gives special attention to each of her clients. I would work with her again and again! Hire her today!

    "Choosing Ali as our photographer was the easiest and best decision my husband and I made throughout our entire wedding process. It was extremely important to us that our wedding reflected our true selves, with every detail being completely unique to us. Ali has an amazing talent for capturing people's true souls and showing the inherit beauty in those things that make us unique. Instead of forcing the "perfect" shot, she acts simply as an observer, seeing you as you really are and in effect creating images that are more perfect for their natural, raw emotion than anything staged. Ali's unobtrusive style encouraged us to focus only on our love for each other, and in return we received a beautiful story of our wedding told through her amazing images.     My husband and I stumbled upon Ali over 2 years ago when we were engaged. Knowing nothing about the whole wedding process, we both agreed on one thing: we wanted amazing pictures. Ali didn’t disappoint.



    I am a complete goofball in front of a camera, but Ali made us both feel extremely comfortable. Not only did we have fun, but she was able to capture both of our personalities and our relationship in her shots. We were blown away with our engagement photos, as well as our wedding photos.



    Ali was a complete joy to be around on the day of our wedding. She had worked with us up until that point, and it felt like I had another friend in the room when we were getting ready and during the ceremony. She was originally told that she would be photographing us outside, but when Mother Nature did not cooperate, she adapted amazingly. She put me completely at ease, and I actually enjoyed my picture being taken. We are STILL getting compliments on our wedding pictures and how amazing our photographer must have been.



    Since I agree with all of those compliments, my husband and I are looking forward to our maternity shots for our first child due at Christmas. We also can’t wait to see how Ali will inevitably capture the personality of our little one. I can’t say enough about how positive our experience working with Ali was, and I will have to continue to dream up special occasions so we can use her again!

    Ali was such a pleasure to work with for our wedding. She made it really easy to get what we were hoping for out of the pictures-we didn’t actually have a clear idea of how we wanted to do the pictures or what we wanted the end result to look like, but Ali is so talented and has such an artistic eye that she captured our wedding in a way we couldn’t have imagined ourselves. She really listened when we had our first meeting, and got to know us as people, so that the end result was a true reflection of us. She was able to manage our ideas and wishes, while maintaining her own vision-she seemed to know what we wanted without us being able to express to her what that was!

    It’s obvious that Ali cares about the people she works with, and it was more like collaborating with a friend than just being a client. During the wedding, the picture-taking was such a smooth process, it went by quickly and we didn’t feel like we missed out on the cocktail hour. We never felt rushed, but really appreciated the efficiency of the family and group photo session. We are beyond happy with our wedding photos, and they are more beautiful than we could have hoped for. But more than that, the pictures were the least stressful part of the whole wedding planning process, because Ali was competent and friendly, and was such a positive presence on the wedding day.

    Ali photographed our wedding this past October in Annapolis, MD- she did such an amazing job of capturing how beautiful our day was. So many beautiful pictures to choose from- it was difficult narrowing it down when it came time to putting our album together!!

    Ali was absolutely fantastic to work with and we highly recommend her to anyone needing a photographer. She was very helpful with photo ideas and open to what we wanted to do as well. She got some beautiful shots of my dress and some great photos of the groom and groomsmen getting ready.

    Everything was very well done and I could not be happier with the photos from the wedding.

    Ali was a JOY to work with. I am SO impressed with our photographs and look forward to enjoying them for a lifetime. I was never worried about how everyone looked because I KNEW that she would make us look amazing no matter what!     Ali will assess your situation very well and take pictures that capture your true moments. She is very good at catching expressions, giving that extra angle that just makes the picture, and keeping far enough away that your moment is intimate even while it is being captured. She is young, flexible, quiet but lets you know what will work out better, has a calming personality and works well with men. She made me and my fiance feel at ease from the start. She is a natural and will make you feel like you are one too!
