I can't say enough about working with Linda at Aramark. They were one of the 8 approved vendors for Little Theatre, and we decided to do a tasting with them. Linda worked with me to create a menu that would accommodate all of our guests dietary needs, and was flexible as we changed things along the way. The food was very good the day of the wedding, and Linda stepped up to help us out when the chargers we rented from another vendor showed up with chips and dings. She offered Aramark's gold chargers at no charge for our use. The staff with Aramark was fantastic as well. I would definitely recommend them as a caterer!

Echo Creek was the perfect venue for our wedding. The outdoor space was beautiful for the ceremony, and we really loved the modern style of the indoor reception area. Jess and Melissa were great to work with and were helpful, organized, and supportive from the early planning stages through the wedding day details and timeline. Everything went smoothly, and we’re so glad we chose Echo Creek!

Grand Street Cafe was absolutely perfect for our wedding reception. Molly, the event coordinator, was great to work with all year answer my (many) questions and so helpful the night of. We could not have pulled it off without her! We opted for a buffet and the food was great. We had compliments from friends after about it! We loved that we could go do the tasting ahead of time, but then even go try a few more appetizers later since some are served on the regular restaurant menu. They also really helped us accommodate a few food allergies for guests. Having the food & beverage services in house and done by a team of professionals also really helped make it stress-free/so much less to coordinate ahead of time. They know what they are doing! The space itself is beautiful and fit our 225 guests comfortably, though I don't think I would go over that number. The white draped ceilings, string lights and center chandelier all show so beautifully in photos and it was awesome to have their tea lights/other options to mix in with our decor. We didn't need to add very much else other than flowers and signage! We did decide to order additional floor length linens different from what the agreement comes with, and Molly helped facilitate all of the ordering of those as well. Vendors were able to get in that morning/afternoon to set up (flowers, cake, DJ, photo booth, etc. -- though we didn't need as many outside vendors since they already provide a lot!) and we were able to drop off items the week of/pick some up the next morning. The flexibility on this was a huge help. And finally, parking is awesome! For our older family members, they made many comments about how easily accessible the parking was -- and that is a huge plus that not many venues closer in to the city/downtown have! 2016 Main and its staff turned out to be inimitable pieces of what made our wedding absolutely perfect. From the very first meeting with its dutiful and accommodating owner, all through the assisted planning and design processes, to the last time we shook hands at the conclusion of our joyous reception, this venue served as a modern yet versatile space that gave us senses of both security and excitement for the big day. My wife and I were fortunate enough to reserve 2016 Main for both our ceremony and reception. Nicolas, new yet experienced management, worked in a flawless balance to oversee the integration of 2016 Main's top-notch sound system with our DJs. Bar packages including staff worked with the venue through his company, Sidecar Cocktail Catering Co. The owner also facilitated discounts through a professional partnership with Brancato's Catering. Lot parking, private security, vendor coordination, you name it. Any time that we had questions, Nicolas had solutions. 2016 Main offers everything you need to make your wedding successful and everything you could want to make it unforgettable.

We absolutely LOVED this venue. Everything about it was stunning. We especially loved the option of the outdoor patio with the fire pits overlooking the beautiful fountain. Our guests enjoyed having the patio to take pictures at and it was a relaxing place for them to take a break from dancing. The banquet hall itself was spacious and beautiful as well. Katelyn and the water’s edge team are amazing and helped us with all the minor details of the day. We received MANY compliments from guests regarding this venue. I would HIGHLY recommend booking here!

Norwood Hills was a great location for our wedding reception, and Zina was incredible throughout the whole process! We had our wedding in St. Louis where we both grew up, but we lived in California and did all of our planning long distance. Not being there in person all the time, it was critical that all of our vendors were easy to work with. Zina was perfect for us! She was flexible, accommodating, and had great ideas for tying everything together. She was part vendor, part coordinator for the reception, which for us being out of town was extremely helpful. Norwood Hills itself was a great space for our large wedding. On the big day, Zina and the entire Norwood Hills staff were amazing. Everything was as we planned, and they responded flexibly to any little hiccups out of their control, such as when high winds threatened our outdoor cocktail hour. Everything came together perfectly. We highly recommend Norwood Hills! Wedding reception details in case it helps others with their planning: - 180 guests. All fit very comfortably. - Live band (All Mixed Up band - amazing!) - Photo booth. Everything fit in the hall leading to the banquet room very nicely. - Hotels in the Central West End for out-of-towners - Transportation to/from hotels in the CWE. Maybe not necessary, but those guests who used it seemed to really appreciate it. Other guests Uber’ed or drove to and from just fine.

I can’t say enough great things about The Venue in Leawood! From start to finish, everything was truly perfect. The space itself was exactly what I needed — spacious enough to comfortably host all 75 of my guests, yet still felt warm and inviting. The finishing touches throughout the venue really added an elegant feel and made everything look polished and beautiful. The bar setup was fantastic, and our bartender went above and beyond to accommodate every single request with a smile — such a pro! A special shoutout to Elizabeth, who worked closely with me and honestly felt more like a wedding planner than just a venue coordinator. She took care of so many little details and made sure everything ran smoothly, which allowed me to actually enjoy my day without stress. One of my favorite parts was how hands-off the entire process was for me. The Venue provided several of my decorations, handled all of the set-up and tear-down, and made sure the space was absolutely flawless. The only thing I had to do was show up! If you’re looking for a beautiful, well-managed space with an incredible team behind it — look no further. I’m beyond happy I found this place and would recommend it to anyone planning an event. Thank you for making my day so special!

Royale Orleans was a wonderful venue to us. Everyone there was helpful and professional, both in the planning and execution of the event. We had both our ceremony and reception in the Lafayette room and it was a beautiful event. They met all of our needs, and it was both affordable and efficient. The event itself was staffed by very helpful and professional people who made the event streamlined and fun all at the same time. A special shoutout to the DJ, Deandre, who walked us through everything beforehand and made the whole event lighthearted and fun. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a wedding or reception venue!

We booked the Zodiac/Starlight rooms for our reception and, I must say, it was truly spectacular! A one of a kind venue with amazing views and top notch service of the Chase staff. My only complaint is that the wedding coordinator that we were assigned did a terrible job responding to us (would take two weeks to respond at times - even up to a month prior to the wedding). However, once my Dad got involved, her manager made sure we received top-notch service! He went out of his way to accommodate us!! At the end of the day, the Chase Park Plaza came through making our wedding reception absolutely perfect! I simply cannot imagine it being any better. Several of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever attended. I highly recommend the Chase Park Plaza!!! You will not be disappointed!!
