Cannot recommend The Venue in Leawood enough! Julian, Elizabeth, and team made wedding planning so stress-free. The catering, bar, and decor were taken care of in house and the venue itself is beautiful. All of our guests gave the best compliments for the food - it was amazing! The staff and especially Julian made our wedding reception perfect!

I can’t say enough great things about The Venue in Leawood! From start to finish, everything was truly perfect. The space itself was exactly what I needed — spacious enough to comfortably host all 75 of my guests, yet still felt warm and inviting. The finishing touches throughout the venue really added an elegant feel and made everything look polished and beautiful.

The bar setup was fantastic, and our bartender went above and beyond to accommodate every single request with a smile — such a pro! A special shoutout to Elizabeth, who worked closely with me and honestly felt more like a wedding planner than just a venue coordinator. She took care of so many little details and made sure everything ran smoothly, which allowed me to actually enjoy my day without stress.

One of my favorite parts was how hands-off the entire process was for me. The Venue provided several of my decorations, handled all of the set-up and tear-down, and made sure the space was absolutely flawless. The only thing I had to do was show up!

If you’re looking for a beautiful, well-managed space with an incredible team behind it — look no further. I’m beyond happy I found this place and would recommend it to anyone planning an event. Thank you for making my day so special!

For our first daughter’s wedding, we were extremely pleased with their level of service, attentiveness, and the value they provided us! The need for a wedding planner was not necessary due to Elizabeth. She was outstanding in every aspect, keeping everything on track and up-to-date with any decisions that needed to be made. Her patience and kindness meant the world to us, and would not hesitate to host our next wedding Reception there

We had our reception at The Venue in Leawood, and it was the best decision we made around planning our wedding. We visited other places in the KC area, but Julian was the only
one to be upfront on pricing. There is no “gotcha” moments or surprise expenses when you work with Julian. He is honest and does his best to make your dream become reality. Everything from the decor, to the food, to the bar, to the outdoor patio, to the staff, the whole night was amazing. Our guests had nothing but positive comments about the evening, especially about Julian’s food. Don’t waste your time anywhere else. Go straight to The Venue in Leawood!

We worked with Julian at the Venue. He was extremely flexible and had great insight for reception planning. We went for a taste testing before hand and the food was incredible! They were also knowledgeable about our other vendors and helpful getting them set up.

We got married at The Venue end of August and both the family and our guests later told us they had so much fun!

The Venue is beautiful, we had both the ceremony and the reception there in different rooms and that worked out perfectly. The bridal suite is lovely and us girls had an awesome time having a makeup party there.

Julian is a great cook - we had the food stations and the food was fantastic! Elizabeth did a great job of organizing the ceremony together with our officiant and had some good ideas which we hadnt considered. The way she decorated both the ceremony and the reception room was spot on. We had puzzles and coloring stations and she organized drinks for the pre-ceremony room so the guests could mingle before the wedding, and she always came and checked in with us about details we missed and kept us on track for the rest of the evening.

Over all it was a really memorable time and in no small part due to The Venue and its entire staff. Thank you to Julian, Elizabeth and their entire team!

On Saturday April 6th we celebrated our daughter Juliana’s wedding to Michael Mayes at The Venue in Leawood, Kansas.

Since it was a destination wedding we also held on Friday April 5th the Rehearsal Dinner and on Sunday April 8th a Farewell Brunch.
They OVER EXCEED our expectations !!! The food was DELICIOUS. The decorations were AMAZING. The cake was SPECTACULAR. The staff attention was SUPERB. Julian and Elizabeth were MORE THAN AWESOME, both of them understood our daughter’s dreams and did every effort to made come true.

They also helped us find DJ, Band, Photographers, Beauty Saloon and housing arrangements with the Aloft Hotel and transportations.

We appreciate all their hard work and thank them for everything they did. We truly recommended The Venue in Leawood for any kind of event and give a big round of applause to Julian, Elizabeth and all their personnel: Matt, Valentin, Carmen, Jose, among other names.

The Venue in Leawood made my dream wedding a reality on 10/13/18! From the beginning when we were first touring venues to the day of the wedding, Julian and Elizabeth were welcoming, accommodating and flexible to our vision, informative, and a pleasure to work with. My husband and I decided on going with the venue for many reasons...1. It had a modern, yet elegant look which is what we were looking for. 2. The space was perfect for both the ceremony and reception since they were separated from each other, indoors so weather wasn’t a concern, and there was a beautiful patio area for cocktail hour. 3. A service staff was included for the day of the wedding and to set up and tear down tables, chairs, and table decor, which was very convenient and the only clean up we had to do was for our own decor we brought in. 4. The food...was absolutely delicious! Full of flavor and variety. 5. Overall convenience! That was definitely intriguing to us that all main vendors usually needed for a wedding were under one roof (caterer, bar tenders, venue, tables, chairs, ceremony space, ceremony decor rental, lighting, table decor, etc.) This was a huge stress relief from the planning process. Julian and Elizabeth were wonderful to communicate with, always with a fast response time, they offered support and solutions, were always open to meeting with us if needed, the pricing for everything was reasonable, they went over every detail with us prior to our wedding on different occassions to make sure it was perfect and what we still wanted, and they were both present on the day of making sure everything ran smoothly. Overall, My husband and I, along with our family and friends were very happy with how everything looked and turned out. The day of our wedding, the venue looked beautiful, perfect, and it was more than I had imagined. We received several compliments regarding the food and event space. We highly recommend The Venue in Leawood for any couple that wants a modern/elegant wedding and ease in their planning process!
