With a capacity of 220 seated and 280 standing guests, the Austin can easily accommodate most event sizes. There are two welcoming suites for the couple and their wedding party to get ready for the occasion. Equipped with specialty lighting, the outdoor space is a fantastic place to say 'I do.' The private courtyard has rustic stonewalls that make for an excellent photo backdrop or an ambient location to say your vows. The indoor area is just as welcoming, with large windows, a full-service bar, and bespoke lighting. Caterers can whip up a mouthwatering meal in the complete kitchen.

Review summary

Perfect Wedding Day
Our only real knock against the Austin was the payment process. Their payment portal desperately needs work/upgrading. On almost every attempt to pay, we had to email staff, reset my link and/or create a new login. And the total charges and record of payments are entirely illegible on invoices (e.g. out of order, unclear which were paid versus not).
Needing to pay by check in order to avoid fees feels like a very 1990s payment system and inconsistent with other KC vendors. This may be less problematic if you can drop it off when living locally, but when we were a thousand miles away. Mailing checks every few months was tedious and annoying in this day and age.
