28 Event Space - The Kansas City Room & The Station is a distinctive wedding venue located in Kansas City, Missouri. Situated within a carefully restored warehouse property, it offers a seamless blend of industrial charm and modern elegance just minutes from downtown Kansas City. Boasting two unique event spaces, it provides a chic and stylish setting for contemporary wedding celebrations.
Facilities and Capacity
The Kansas City Room boasts 7,500 square feet of space and accommodates up to 325 guests for cocktail receptions and 300 for seated celebrations. Featuring a large dance floor and a full-sized bar, this venue celebrates the vibrant energy of Kansas City's nightlife. A custom mural depicting the city's iconic skyline adorns the space, along with warm, glowing café lights and luxe gold drapery. More intimate gatherings take place in The Station. With seating for up to 175 guests, this space features soaring ceilings, large windows, and plenty of skylights that create a bright and airy atmosphere. Its spacious outdoor patios provide a fabulous fresh-air retreat where guests can enjoy drinks, mingle, and take in the stunning views of the city. Tables, chairs, and linens are provided by the venue, allowing you to set up your dream celebration however you wish. Ample parking is available on-site, guaranteeing ease of access for your guests. To complete the experience, 28 Event Space offers comfortable overnight suites and beautifully appointed dressing rooms for the happy couple and their entourage.
Services Offered
The fabulous venues at 28 Event Space are available on a five-hour rental basis. An open vendor policy means that you and your beloved are free to fully customize the occasion to your preferences. Curated decor, expert suppliers, and full-service caterers are welcome to set up and execute their services within the venue. The team at 28 Event Space is happy to provide bartenders and parking attendants for your celebration upon request. Arrangements for DJs, uplighting, and photo booth rentals can also be made through the expert team.

Perfect! No regrets
The perfect venue!
We booked the event space with help from our planner, who we later had some issues with, and 28 Event Space did an amazing job helping us find a new planner and stepping in to reassure us that our day would still be perfect!
Our guests loved the gorgeous, big space. The surrounding parking was perfect. I had a blast hanging with my friends and getting ready in the huge bridal suite! The bar tenders were also absolutely incredible - fast, friendly, and made great drinks.
The space makes it easy for vendors to load up everything that’s needed, with big garage doors and loading spaces. The lighting is also awesome!
The only change I think I’d make to the space is not staying there overnight after our event. Due to the surrounding area having other event spaces and bars, it was very very loud until about 3:30 am in the couples’ suite and we didn’t sleep really at all. This was NOT the venue’s fault at all! We’re just from the suburbs and not used to night life :) we do not blame them at all for the noise and should have known ourselves better!
I would 1000% recommend 28 event space!
