We had our wedding here on November 8th. Jordan (the manager) was so easy to work with. He was so flexible. He made the planning process so smooth. He responded quickly and really tried to make our wedding the best it could be. He was excellent to work with! The venue is absolutely stunning. The lake setting is so beautiful and the outdoor ceremony area is gorgeous. They also provided the food and drinks for our wedding. The food was fantastic. We got so many compliments on the food. We did a plated dinner and they were able to get the food out very quickly and it was very high quality. The bartender was great and made sure everyone was happy with their drinks. Overall, they made our wedding day so wonderful. I highly recommend this place for a wedding!

Easy to work with and inclusive package

We were promised a good event, but they blew it away! Everything was perfect, from the food (which was really outstanding), to the service: professional, prompt, and extremely cordial. The room was way above what you might expect from a golf facility, with a huge classy deck that provided great views of the beautiful course. We couldn’t be happier with our choice

When our original venue, Bogey Hills, sadly burned down we were left very worried and unsure of what we could do in a short timeframe. We reached out the The Legends and their coordinator, Rebecca, and told her what had happened and she immediately put us at ease. The legends worked with us to quickly match prices/meals/extras to make sure that we had the wedding we had planned. We can not say enough great things about Rebecca and The Legends - everyone there was great to work with and very accommodating. It ended up raining on our wedding day and the inside option for the ceremony was beautiful and the staff was so quick to turn the room around the the reception/cocktail hour/dancing etc. From the start Rebecca and the Legends were so amazing and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out!!

The venue was absolutely beautiful! Shannon and her staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. The days leading up to the reception grew chaotic with last minute design ideas but Shannon was so calming, reassuring, and a voice of reason. She assured me everything would be perfect and it was! We have received so many compliments from guests on how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. Several guests even said that the dinner was the best wedding reception food they ever had. I can’t recommend Bogey enough for your wedding reception! Not to mention the amazing photos we got from having such a stunning view of the course!

We LOVED using Oakwood for our wedding venue!! We fell in love with the beautiful space when we came to tour it and it just felt right for our May 2024 wedding. Working with Katelyn from their staff was great, she was very responsive and accommodating. Pretty much everything we wanted she said yes to and helped us figure out the best way to do it! She worked really well with all of our hired vendors as well. A big plus for Oakwood is catering and drinks are included which made it so easy to work with Katelyn on both aspects. Their food was delicious and all of our guests said it was some of the best "wedding food" they've had - no dry chicken here! Such a beautiful and unique venue for events in the KC area - we highly recommend!

The MAC gave us the most perfect wedding ever!!!!! I am still in utter shock that this was our wedding day. Courtney was absolutely incredible, the shuttle was amazing, the food is still being talked about. They truly made our dream wedding vision come to life. Thank you for providing absolute perfection!!!!

What can we say about Old Hickory Golf Club and our wedding coordinator? Simply put, they were amazing! 💕 From day one when we went to the venue to meet Julie, who ended up being our wedding coordinator, to just look and ask questions on the options provided, we were put at ease and not pressured! Julie really know her stuff when it comes to ask the offerings. If she didn't have a solid answer, she got it for us within the business day. The grounds are beautifully kept. We opted for a lakeside wedding, but Mother Nature had other plans that day, so we decided at rehearsal to just be inside. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful. We did get some amazing pictures as the day went on. We were even blessed with a double rainbow for some wonderful pictures! Options offered were potential and reasonably priced. Such a great group of people to work with, too! Julie definitely knows what she's doing and walked us through all we needed to know about how the day would go, hiccups on our part included! She stayed amazingly calm when my son was late to walk me down the aisle due to traffic. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day, coordinator, or venue! 💕🤘💕🥂💕💍💕

Kelly has been amazing to work with! She has answered all of our questions. The facility is beasutiful and well-kept. The food was amazing! My fiance was so glad he came to the taste testing, although deciding what food we were going to have was tough, since it was all really good. It's really helpful that they have standard pieces of centerpieces like mirrors and vases that you can use for no extra cost.

We chose this venue because it had in-house catering and well-priced bar services. In addition, they had their own lighting, photobooth, and sound system. The venue is beautiful and has nice get ready rooms, but the best part of the experience was working with their coordinator, Emily Frick. She handled so much for us and was really integral in the final product.
