If your looking for a unique wedding experience in a small wine town along the Missouri River, I highly recommend Hermann Hill Weddings. This was the first and only venue we looked at and fell in love instantly. From the beginning of the planning to the end of the reception they exceeded our expectations. Our wedding coordinator Laura was amazing to work with and we were impressed with the level of support that Laura and the whole staff provided on our wedding day. Not only does Hermann Hill Weddings have an exceptional team to help make your special day magical but the venue itself is that cherry on top to a perfect day. The property that the venue sits on is along side the Missouri River with the best view of the sunset. We opted to have our ceremony down on the bluffs and we were super blessed to have beautiful weather. The reception space is versatile and would work with any color scheme you chose for your wedding. As part of the wedding package it included a stay in an onsite cottage for the weekend. When you walk in the smell of fresh baked bread in a bread maker was a wonderful welcoming. There is a hot tub on the back deck with a view of the river but that water pressure from the Rainforest showerhead was top notch. The cottages were beautiful, homey and provided a nice oasis for us when the wedding was over. Hermann Hill Weddings are a 10/15 and we highly recommend. We are five days out and people are still talking about our wedding, not only are they saying how beautiful our union was to witness but everyone always follows up with how much they loved the venue and how impressed they were with the level of attention and service that was provided. *photo credit to the amazing Christina @ Charisma Photo for sunset photos and bride/groom shots.

Mountain Edge Weddings is an absolute hidden gem! If you are looking for a venue that captures the raw, panoramic beauty of the Buffalo River Valley, this is it. The views from the rock pad and pavillion are nothing short of breathtaking. What really sets this place apart though, is the owner Ernie. He is incredibly accommodating and genuinely invested in making sure your day goes off without a hitch. From providing lighting updates and last minute assistance, to making sure the grounds are pristine, his attention to detail is unmatched. I would recommend this to anyone who is wanting to get married in this area!

We had our wedding ceremony at Dogwood Canyon in Lampe, MO, and it was truly everything we hoped for and more. The atmosphere is absolutely breathtaking — surrounded by nature, with pristine landscapes that make for unforgettable scenery and photos. From start to finish, the venue was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities we needed. One of the biggest highlights was the incredible staff. Everyone we interacted with was warm, professional, and helpful. A special shoutout to Tracy and her team, who went above and beyond — Tracy was knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely kind throughout the entire planning process. Her guidance and calm presence made everything so much easier. If you’re looking for a nature-inspired, well-run, and stunningly beautiful place to get married, I can’t recommend Dogwood Canyon enough. It’s a magical setting that you and your guests will remember forever.

What a wonderful venue! If you want that rustic shabby sheik wedding, this is the place! All the people are wonderful to work with. It was a perfect day to get married right out on the point next to the Mississippi River. There isn't one thing we would have changed. Thanks to everyone who put in so much time to make this wedding so beautiful and memorable!

This venue is beautiful all on its own. We had an arch with stumps and table decor but that’s all that was needed! The venue is rustic yet elegant and absolutely stunning! Laura is fantastic to work with!!

Highly highly highly recommend. We did our wedding on a Wednesday and it cost us $1400 for wednesday and tuesday. Weekends are more expensive but still affordable ($3000?) He was so friendly and helpful. He answered all of our questions and allowed us to tour on 3 different occasions with different people. Our best man is paralyzed. He built a ramp specifically for him so it was more accessible. It was so beautiful and there are so many places to have your ceremony it'll fit any wedding.
