This is such a unique venue in downtown KC because of the rooftop terrace, central location, affordability and event coordinators. We did an extensive search and none of the other downtown venues compared. The rooftop terrace and indoor reception space allows you to have the entire event in one location. The venue is in a great part of downtown, within walking distance to hotels, bars and restaurants which was nice for our out-of-town guests. Heather and Kelsi are FABULOUS, very organized and make you feel like family. They coordinated delivery/set-up with my vendors and kept me on track during my wedding day which eliminated the need for a day-of-coordinator. They are able to provide a lot of complimentary decor which allows you to cut costs. The catering is in-house and is absolutely delicious! Their pricing is also very reasonable compared to other downtown venues. We are SO happy we had our wedding at Terrace and will recommend them over and over again!

We enjoyed having our wedding ceremony and reception at the Harlow! Adrianna was awesome to work with and made it a great experience for us. It’s a fun and pretty venue, affordable, and they are easy to work with. I will say that if you have your wedding in the summer, the AC has difficulty keeping up (was pretty hot the whole night) and the floors made my dress very dirty. Overall though, was a great venue for us!

I thought I wanted to get married at The Bauer and then I went to tour it. This venue is BEAUTIFUL. It does not require much decoration and the view to downtown was perfect. It seemed on the cheap end at first, but after adding in rentals, it was on par with other venues. The staff was responsive and really made the day perfect. Planning the wedding from out of state is no easy task, but they made it so easy. They were also super helpful with figuring out a floor plan to make the most use of the space! I would choose The Bride and The Bauer in a heart beat again!

The service turned out better than expected. We didn't have to decorate or anything , it was all taken care of. The guests loved the view and they even had a cash bar so we didn't have to provide any beverages. Not everything went as planned but it was thrown together in only 7 weeks so not bad for a shotgun wedding. Highly recommended!
