I grew up visiting Loch Lloyd just about every weekend, so choosing somewhere so beautiful and nostalgic for our wedding day was a no-brainer. My parents were also married at Loch Lloyd, which made getting married there ourselves even more special. But as sentimental as the venue was to me, I can confidently say I would have chosen Loch Lloyd regardless of our family history. Not only was the venue itself perfect, but the staff and the level of help we received throughout the process justified our decision every step of the way.

We booked the venue pretty far in advance, and from that point on, we would mosey up to the clubhouse whenever we had some free time, grab dinner, and walk around the property talking about what our wedding day was going to look like. Being able to actually spend time at our venue throughout the planning process was something I absolutely loved. We could walk around, visualize everything, find photo locations, talk through ideas, and really get to know the property rather than only seeing it during scheduled venue visits.

I did not have a wedding planner for the months leading up to our wedding, so I was DELIGHTED when Loch Lloyd provided us with a point of contact and captain of events, Kim. A few months before the wedding, we met Kim for lunch at the clubhouse, and from that meeting on, I genuinely felt like I could go hands-free.

She started at the very beginning of the guest experience and walked through practically every minute of the day with us. What do you want guests to do the moment they get out of their cars? Do we want golf carts taking them to the door? Are they signing a guest book when they walk in? Do we need signage directing them to the ceremony? Are they grabbing a welcome drink? What is the welcome drink?

When we got to that question and decided we wanted a signature cocktail, Kim literally had someone come out during our meeting to make it for us so I could taste it. We made adjustments and crafted our welcome drink right there at the table. THAT is the level of service we received.

And it didn't stop with the big things. Kim went as far as discussing the dress code for the staff and helping me figure out food signage after I told her I was officially "signaged out." She and her team thought through every little detail, including things I never would have thought to ask about myself. They were also willing to meet with us as many times as we needed throughout the process.

As for the venue itself, one of my biggest priorities was finding somewhere that we did not have to leave from the moment we arrived until the moment the wedding was over. Loch Lloyd was perfect for that.

I got ready at my parents' house in the neighborhood, but we also had access to the women's and men's locker rooms throughout the day. My husband and his groomsmen did their final getting ready in the men's locker room, which was perfect because they also had the bar and grill upstairs where they could hang out beforehand. One of my favorite little memories was the guys having a drink on the balcony while guests started arriving below. Guests could see them and were waving and shouting "good luck!" up to them before the ceremony. It was such a fun, unplanned moment that we never could have created at a traditional event venue.

The photo opportunities inside the Loch Lloyd gates are also ENDLESS. We took photos by the lake, around the neighborhood, throughout the property, and on the 19th hole, which is a practice hole that gave us the perfect golf course backdrop and doesn't actually interrupt play. I really wanted some of our wedding photos to have that classic, preppy golf course feel, and we absolutely got it. Kim even offered our day-of coordinator golf carts for the wedding party so we could easily get around the property for photos without wasting time walking from place to place.

We also had our ceremony outside on the event lawn, and Loch Lloyd was able to temporarily re-direct golfers during the ceremony so we didn't have golf carts driving around behind us while we were getting married. Again, it was one of those logistical details they had covered.

The reception setup was equally amazing. Our DJ brought his own sound system, which was recommended, and there were two full bars on either side of the reception space. This was HUGE. I don't think I ever saw more than one person waiting in line for a drink the entire night. With a wedding, those little logistical things make such a difference in the guest experience.
And that is probably one of the biggest reasons I would recommend Loch Lloyd even to someone who doesn't have the sentimental connection to it that I do: everything is within the gates!!!

You are within the gates the entire day. The guys could even golf that morning if they want to! You aren't putting your wedding party and guests on buses to move between locations. You aren't coordinating multiple venues. You aren't outsourcing kitchen staff, tables, chairs, plates, glassware, bars, or all of the other things that suddenly become separate rentals at a traditional event space. Loch Lloyd is already a fully functioning country club and restaurant, so the infrastructure is already there. It made the logistics of our wedding SO much easier.

There are beautiful places to get ready, endless locations for photos, an outdoor ceremony space, indoor reception space, full kitchen, multiple bars, locker rooms, golf carts, parking, and an experienced staff all in one place. Once we were inside the gates, everything we needed was there.
Loch Lloyd will always be incredibly nostalgic to me. I grew up there, my parents were married there, and now my husband and I were able to add our own wedding to that history. That alone would have made the day special. But I can genuinely say that even without that connection, I would choose Loch Lloyd all over again because of how beautiful, convenient, and accommodating it was.

And with the new clubhouse coming, I can only imagine how incredible weddings at Loch Lloyd are going to become. If it was this beautiful and this seamless for us, it's about to be that times ten!

We could not be more grateful to Kim and the entire Loch Lloyd team for how much care they put into our wedding. They didn't just give us a beautiful place to get married, they made the entire experience leading up to it easier, thought about details we never would have considered, and helped us create a day that felt completely like us.

I truly cannot recommend Loch Lloyd enough.

I am not a member of Loch Lloyd but learned non-members could still host events there. Because it's a gated and exclusive community, I thought it would be out of my price range but it wasn't and all i can say is WOW. They made our special day beyond incredible. The setting, the food, the people - exceeded all expectations. My photos will last forever and I feel so lucky to have hosted my day at Loch Lloyd.

Up until a few months ago I was fully prepared to write a negative review for Loch Lloyd, however, the issue was the coordinator Brittany. She has since left the company and Marty has taken over. He made our day everything we could have imagined and more! I could not have made my wedding day as amazing as it was without his help. The staff was so helpful, friendly, and receptive. The minute I would think of something to do it was already done for us. I owe them a major thank you and I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a BEAUTIFUL venue at an amazing cost.

Extremely gorgeous place to have a wedding. The staff was so courteous and helpful! We couldn't have picked a better place to have our wedding. Their event lawn was large enough to fit our 150 guests comfortably and their food was awesome! Brad and Michelle are awesome!

Loch Lloyd is a beautiful place for a wedding ceremony and reception. It is wonderful to have both at the same venue. Brad and Michelle were great to work with and once our vendors were chosen, Michelle took care of the rest for us. We just needed to give the head count.

Loch Lloyd is a beautiful venue for any type of ceremony or reception. We kept our decor simple because of the beautiful views. We worked mostly with Michelle. She was a great help in keeping everything organized and running smoothly. The food was amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Beautiful venue. Great food. Polite waitstaff. Everything you could want in a venue except for the management. From the time I booked the venue to the time I had my wedding (13 months) there were 3 people different people switched in and out of the position of "wedding coordinator" that was what the position used to be titled before it had to be filled by people in charge of food and beverage management. My first "coordinator" Brittney told my lots of incorrect information (like how there is a shuttle service for wedding guests if they stay at the local hotels) and I got told by her on multiple occasions "you don't need to hire a wedding coordinator for the day of, we will do everything for you". Well jump to one month after I booked the venue and Brittney has ghosted. I find this out after one month of trying to get in contact with her that Marty has taken over (he was the director of food and beverage) granted he was not a wedding coordinator he was still better than Brittney. I was able to do the food trial with him and he was very on top of things. I was stuck with Jessica and Todd (the assistant directors of food and beverage) after Marty left (at least he personally called to let me know). Jessica was extremely difficult to get a hold of (probably because they only have 2 people doing the job of what 4 people used to do) Thank god I had a wedding coordinator that I hired from outside (jjproductions) If I didn't have Jillian(my actual coordinator) , my wedding would have been horribly unorganized the day of. I kid you not, I walked past BOTH Jessica and Todd at both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding and neither one of them said one word to me (I was literally the only one wearing a wedding dress so I'm pretty sure I was hard

the place was beautiful. the service was awful! we were disappointed in the end. if you choose this place-all i can say is beware of what you spend and keep track of everything, ex. open bar, what food is being served? a lot of our guest were not served at all the menu that we had specified. i would definitely NOT recommend this place.
