When my fiance and I started planning our wedding, we thought it was all under control. Then we realized that there is so much more to planning a wedding than being organized and crossing things off a to-do list. From our first meeting, I trusted Sydney immediately and I knew was on top of it all! She was professional, organized, and very experienced but was in touch with the entire emotional experience of a bride. She was strong where we needed her to be but flexible in the moments that required it. I had not considered a wedding planner when first starting to plan our wedding. I said things like, \"I can do that myself\" or \"I will just have my family and friends help out.\" But so many friends started telling me the ONE thing they are sooo happy they invested in was a Day Of Coordinator. And now I am passing on the same advice that I received. My husband and I really wanted our guests to be relaxed and stress free. And we didn\'t want to give them \"jobs\". There are so many details and coordinating that will be happening that you don\'t think about before the wedding. Sydney had things organized that I hadn\'t even thought of. (an experienced wedding coordinator!) She allowed us to savor the moments, stay present, and soak in the memory rather than running around trying to answer to everyone. Sydney and her team were the most amazing vendors we worked with for our wedding day. My husband and I were blown away by the quality and care Sydney puts into her services for the cost. The value of having a day-of event planner is unparalleled, and we have no idea where we would have been if it weren\'t for Sydney. She took care of everything from the rehearsal to full set-up and tear down of the event. She was very responsive throughout the entire planning process and she executed our vision with the decor seamlessly. She was a great point person for our vendors in helping them all set up, getting them their payments, and communicating needs to them. She organized the ceremony and directed everyone effectively, and she kept the flow of the reception by orchestrating speeches and letting us know where we needed to be and when. The last thing you want to do on your wedding day is wonder who is going to load up the gifts at the end of the night or worry about tipping the staff. Sydney made it possible for us to fully enjoy our party and our guests, and forget about being the hosts. My husband and I had a unique situation, and after booking Sydney for a 2013 wedding, we had to reschedule the event just six weeks before it was scheduled to occur. Sydney was very understanding of our circumstances with no questions asked. Six months later, when we contacted her to help us with our wedding for fall 2014, she reinstated our original contract and kept our deposit from the first time around! We were so thankful for her grace and professionalism and the extra meetings we had with us. So many other vendors took advantage of our situation to charge more money in the end, but Sydney is truly one to take the stress out of the wedding and keep the couples\' best interests at heart.
