Colleen's Coordinating is a wedding planning business serving Tacoma, Washington, and surrounding areas. As your coordinator, my goal is to ensure you have the ability to enjoy your day without having to worry. Once all the details are handed off to me, the day of your wedding will be seamlessly orchestrated and stress-free.
Services Offered
A description of my services are listed below:
- Pre-event meeting to discuss all event information, review timeline, and go over day of needs.
- Once booked, as much communication as necessary via phone, text, or email leading up to the event.
- 12 hours of coordination on the day of the event, with the option to add more hours. Arrival and departure at the time requested by the customer.
- Working with vendors on the day of the event to make sure all aspects of the day run smoothly and according to the customer’s wishes.
- Timing and release of wedding party procession.
- Any troubleshooting required throughout the event.
- Wedding party emergency kit provided.
- Access to my editable planning document.
- Travel within 45 miles (roughly 1 hour) included.

Everyone needs a Colleen!
She did everything from the timing of the wedding ceremony, leading my aunts with the table decor and even helping groomsmen pin on their boutonnières (pictured).
If I would have had to manage all of the day-of little changes that Colleen did (such as the weather starting to sprinkle even though it was 90 degrees and the caterer being 30 minutes late) I wouldn’t have been able to be fully present. With her help, I was!
Everyone needs a Colleen on their wedding day! Her professionalism, sense of urgency and hard working yet joyful personality were what we liked best. We genuinely had no complaints and refer her to all of our friends and family!

I know it sounds super corny, but I love love. And I love getting to be a part of one of the most special days of a couple's lives. Day of coordinating is fast paced, busy, productive, and invigorating! I got my start in events in college when I worked on the University of Washington Relay for Life planning committee. From there I moved into wedding day of coordinating pretty organically through friends of friends and word of mouth. After teaching and doing it on the side for almost ten years, it is now my full-time job and passion!
