Quartered within a spectacular 19th Century brownstone mansion, the restaurant's distinctive ambience combines Victorian elegance with contemporary, urban sophistication.
The restaurant's Main Dining Room, awash in palette of amber and burnt rose, pays homage to the building's original Gilded Era construction. The glass enclosed, oval-shaped Conservatory - designed for private dining - yields panaramic views of the mansion's walled garden.
The lounge offers a premier destination for social exchange or casual dining - its translucent bar, upholstered seatng and vintage palladian window overlooking Market Street.

Volt is a top restaurant with excellent food and quality service. We had a small intimate wedding in the courtyard on a beautiful day which was perfect. There is no good indoor place for the ceremony in case of inclement weather so we rented a large windowed tent for the back of the courtyard. The courtyard was a perfect place for the ceremony and formal pictures. The cocktail hour (cocktails and canapés) started in the courtyard and as the temperatures rose spontaneously moved into the bar area. A six course elegant dinner was served in the main dining room followed by wedding cake (separate review of Piece O Cake LLC). They treated us very nicely through the menu planning, wine selections and bride/groom cocktail selections. The coordinator (included) was new when we started planning but by the time we had our wedding she met our expectations nicely. The restaurant is pricey but the food and service is outstanding.Sent on 07/01/2018
