Facilities and Capacity

At Field & Main Restaurant, you can look forward to celebrating your wedding reception with up to 70 of your nearest and dearest. The restaurant offers several beautifully appointed dining areas, including the upstairs salon, main dining room, and kitchen. In the upstairs salon, you will find a projector, screen, and private restroom for your convenience. This cozy space can facilitate 32 guests for a seated meal, while the main dining room can fit 30 people. The semi-private kitchen dining area features a wood-burning hearth and is available for 16 guests. Fantastic food, lovely staff

I could not have asked for a better place to host our wedding dinner. It has been a year and my guest are still talking about the food! The staff was so friendly and Julie made booking to the day of go so smoothly.

We loved Field & Main

Field and Main was a fantastic place for us to host our wedding rehearsal dinner. The staff was friendly and accommodating, keeping in good communication with us throughout the night. We did have a fixed menu that the restaurant decided and shared with us a couple of weeks before the event, but it was all good food and we were happy with what they made. Overall, we recommend any couple looking for a laid-back, fun spot in wine country VA.

We hosted my son's rehearsal dinner at Field & Main in November 2023. The food and service were superb!

Our experience in planning and hosting my son's rehearsal dinner at Field & Main went far beyond our expectations. Our guests are still talking about the fantastic food, unique presentation, and high quality service.
From the general manager to the owner and staff, there was an obvious attention to detail, and exceptional attention to guests with food allergies.

Flawless Wedding Reception Dinner

My husband and I had the most beautiful wedding reception at Field & Main in Marshall, VA. I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like rockstars, giving us the entire upstairs to ourselves for our intimate celebration. The menu curated by the talented chefs was an absolute triumph, each dish flawlessly executed and bursting with flavor. As a professional pastry chef, I had high expectations for our wedding cake, and the pastry chef at Field & Main exceeded them beyond my wildest dreams - it was a true masterpiece. The attention to detail, from the impeccable steps of service to the thoughtful wine pairings, created a magical atmosphere that elevated our special day. Despite my initial reservations about having our reception at a restaurant, the team at Field & Main handled everything with utmost professionalism and care, making the planning process a breeze. Beautiful space, delicious food

We were so glad to have held our rehearsal dinner here! The entire staff was amazing, Julie (the events manager) was extremely flexible and communicative, and of course the food was just out of this world. They were able to accommodate food allergies / preferences, and multiple people stated it was some of the best salmon they ever had (though the menu rotates and honestly everything was delicious). The cocktails and desserts were also amazing. The fact they focus on local and homegrown ingredients just adds to the allure of this place. I wholeheartedly endorse Field & Main for your rehearsal dinner or just any occasion to be honest. It was really the best way to start our wedding weekend and festivities!
