Facilities and Capacity
At Field & Main Restaurant, you can look forward to celebrating your wedding reception with up to 70 of your nearest and dearest. The restaurant offers several beautifully appointed dining areas, including the upstairs salon, main dining room, and kitchen. In the upstairs salon, you will find a projector, screen, and private restroom for your convenience. This cozy space can facilitate 32 guests for a seated meal, while the main dining room can fit 30 people. The semi-private kitchen dining area features a wood-burning hearth and is available for 16 guests. While you enjoy your delicious dinner, you can observe the chefs at work in the busy kitchen environment. Outdoors, the rustic cabana is perfect for casual drinks and relaxed socializing in a group of 10 or less.

Team

From a young age Julie was drawn to the hospitality industry, working her way through high school and college in various event management and catering positions in New York and Boston. After school, she was a meeting planner in Washington, DC for several years.
Julie has worked at Field & Main in a variety of roles since 2017, taking over group events in 2020 in addition to her duties as General Manager. Julie utilizes her background in event management, combined with her love of creating truly memorable occasions to give her hosts a stress-free, streamlined, and extra special experience.

Neal and Star Wavra opened Field & Main Restaurant in September 2016. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Neal has a long history of working in fine dining establishments around the country. His love and knowledge of wine has taken him around the world. Pairing wines with a locally sourced, globally inspired menu is his passion.

Alec is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America where he specialized in pastry. His subsequent experience has been spent primarily in fine dining establishments around the Washington DC region. His attention to detail and love of working with fresh, local ingredients make his desserts particularly special and memorable.
