Brock's Riverside Grill is a restaurant wedding venue located in historic downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia. Sitting on the edge of the Rappahannock River, next to the Virginia Central Railway Station, this much-loved establishment has been open for 23 years. With its warm, cozy ambiance and delicious food, it's an ideal venue for weddings, rehearsals, showers, and other events.
Facilities and Capacity
Brock's Riverside Grill offers two different event spaces which are perfect for both ceremonies and receptions. The Rappahannock Room accommodates up to 150 guests for receptions, and a maximum of 100 for ceremonies. Featuring a dance floor, a full-service bar, and a veranda with stunning river views, it makes a beautiful setting for celebrating with family and friends. It also features an elevator for accessibility, as well as private restroom facilities. The River and Chef's Room can hold up to 62 guests, making it ideal for more intimate gatherings. This space boasts a spacious dance floor and wraparound sliding glass doors with river views. It's connected to a separate room with two large bay windows overlooking the Rappahannock, where you can enjoy your cocktail hour while admiring the views. After your event, you can continue the celebrations in one of the venue's three in-house bars. With one indoor and two outdoor spaces to choose from, you and your guests will be spoiled for choice.

The sweetest riverfront venue!
One of the things that really stood out to us was the variety of wedding packages available, making it easy to choose one that fit our needs perfectly. The transparency of their pricing, all listed clearly online, was also a huge plus and made the planning process feel even more seamless.
When we toured the space for the first time, it confirmed everything we hoped. It was exactly what we envisioned. Meeting Carley sealed the deal. She was clearly experienced, organized, and genuinely passionate about what she does. Her expertise and clear communication made the entire planning phase stress-free. Shout out as well to Jason who made sure he answered my questions. It shows how they both truly care about their clients and shows what top-notch customer service looks like.
On the wedding day itself, we were blown away by the level of service, the smooth coordination, and the incredible attention to detail. Everything ran flawlessly.
And the food, amazing! The bacon wrapped scallops, blackened chicken alfredo, and the London broil were so delicious. Everything was flavorful. We also loved that the appetizers, open bar, and DJ were all included in our package which is such a great touch.
We’re so happy we chose this venue for our special day. It was everything we imagined and more! Thank you Brock’s!
