We had a wonderful experience having our wedding reception at Sequoia! The food, ambience, and service was all outstanding. We had perfect weather and were so thrilled with how everything went. Highly recommend Sequoia!!

We had our wedding in the upstairs event space at Sonoma Restaurant and Wine Bar. It was the perfect space for our wedding. Roneeka was amazing to work with and she was super flexible and quickly returned updated contracts when we needed to make changes to our catering order. She met with us several times to go through the menu and explain detials. We couldn't have been happier with our decision to have the wedding at Sonoma.

we used this place for our reception and after party and just wow. we were more than impressed with the level of service and the team we worked with was just amazing (Jaclyn Lewis and Emily Best). our guests continue to tell us they had the best wedding food they have ever had. seriously top notch wire to wire

We hosted our 60-person wedding at Big Bear Cafe in May 2025, and we are so thrilled we did. From the start of our venue search, the event manager Bri was attentive and organized. On the day itself, the staff were so proactive, helpful and kind. Many guests told us that they loved the space, and that the food was absolutely delicious (the beef short ribs especially got rave reviews!). And it was fun to invite folks back the next morning to debrief over coffee and breakfast, once it re-opened as a coffee shop. Highly recommend hosting your wedding here. I think it's especially great for those taking a more DIY approach - they have a speaker system we plugged into (no need for a DJ!) and they have a guest house literally next door to stay in, where we prepped our DIY flowers and decor and then carried over the day of!

I recently had my wedding reception in the loft area of the Chart House in Cardiff. My husband and I were able to create our own menu for our guests with limited selections. Rena, the coordinator, was extremely friendly. When my husband and I went to meet her and look at the location, she had given us packets of information and let us look at pictures of previous events and platter arrangements. Booking the Chart House was very easy. Keep in mind that you can only get to the loft area by climbing stairs- there isn't an elevator for guests that have difficulties with steps. The food was fantastic, but the service was extremely slow. If you have a small party, the Chart House is definitely worth looking into.

I would 100% recommend Floriana for your rehearsal dinner! My mother-in-law worked with Bat to create a menu and finalize drink options well in advance of the rehearsal dinner to ensure anyone with allergies was taken care of. Day of, we arrived at Floriana's early and they were already set up and ready to seat us. The food and wine was phenomenal and the service was equally as good! I'm lactose-intolerant which can be difficult to navigate at an Italian restaurant but Floriana was so accommodating and whipped me up my own pasta dish! Everyone raved about the food and especially their wine, I'll have to call and ask them which exact wines were served because they really were fantastic!

I've eaten at Carmine's plenty of times, but recently reserved and used one of their private dining rooms for a wedding rehearsal. We reached out a few months before the wedding and received plenty of information on our options for reserving rooms and picking a menu. We arrived Friday night at 7pm (same night as a Capitals game) and the restaurant was PACKED and loud, but they took us right to our reserved room where we could close the door, which kept it nice and quiet for our families to interact. The tables were already set, and they had printed out menus based on our selections. Our main server greeted us when we came in, and was wonderful to work with for the evening. Our room was reserved for 3 hours, and they brought in appetizers, entrees, and desserts at a great pace to keep the evening moving. Our server even asked us if we wanted the music in the room turned up or down. The food was amazing and everyone was very pleased and full. We had a lot of leftovers, which they happily boxed up for us when we were finished. The room was a comfortable size and had plenty of decorations and finishing. It was a wonderful, comfortable experience to get our wedding weekend started. I'd highly recommend them for private dining or as a regular diner!
