Our clients booked La Vie as their reception venue for their wedding! As a wedding planner, we work with many venues throughout the DMV. La Vie and its staff were exceptional! Quality of service, food, professionalism, and flexibility. It is also a gorgeous, photo-worthy venue. Cannot recommend this venue and their team enough!!

Due to COVID, my husband and I cancelled our large October 2020 wedding and decided at the last minute to have an intimate ceremony and dinner. When I knew we were only having our immediate family, I knew the perfect space -- the Chandelier Room at La Vie!

Cindy and her team at La Vie went above and beyond to make the dinner special for our wedding. They were super flexible with timing as well as the menu. We were able to view the space beforehand and she was very open to making the space work for us and our family during COVID. And, on the day of, we had AMAZING service from every staff member.

The food and drinks were also outstanding. The appetizers, the seafoood, the salads, the entrees (I had the branzino, my husband the steak)... all so good. And they were also very accommodating with food and adjusting timing for my nieces and nephew (all less than 4 years old)!

The restaurant is very conveniently located in DC at the Wharf and they are several great hotels in the area. We stayed at the Intercontinental which is next door to La Vie so a quick walk back to the hotel after dinner!

As a boutique event planning company you want the best for your clients. So when you get the opportunity to work at a new venue you wonder how the experience will be. This was our first opportunity coordinating a wedding at La Vie and it did not disappoint. The staff at La Vie made our clients wedding memorable.

Considering they had 3 weddings that day, they did all that they could to help us get set up and ensure things went smoothly. Planning a wedding has its challenges but planning a wedding in the midst of COVID was even more challenging. Yet the staff of La Vie rose to the occasion and assisted us every step of the way. Their time and talent are appreciated. The Director of Events & Marketing, Cindy Peet and her assistant, Marisol were exceptional. Their professionalism, attention to detail and hard work is invaluable and does not go unnoticed. We would love to work with this team again.

The venue is absolutely gorgeous and has amazing views. The chandelier room was the perfect venue for the ceremony and the penthouse provided a beautiful backdrop for the reception. The food is prepared well and did not disappoint.
