Wedding dress shopping at Aisle Chic was such a great experience. The young woman helping me out during my appointment really listened to the details of what type of dress I was looking for. I also appreciated getting to take home my dress the same day! I highly recommend Aisle Chic if you’re looking for a quality wedding dress for a fair price!

Getting my wedding dress altered at Davis Imperial Cleaners was one of the best decisions I made about our wedding. I do not live in the Chicagoland area, but was getting married there. I live about 3 hours away. I purchased my dress in Atlanta. I reached out to a Chicago salon that sells my dress's designer to ask about their recommendations for alterations. My dress had A LOT of beading so I was very particular about who would take care of it. They directed me to Davis Imperial Cleaners as that is where they send their brides. Iana was absolutely wonderful and I quickly found myself looking forward to traveling to Chicago for my 3 fittings. She made the process so easy by clearly explaining what was needed, giving suggestions and advice, and generally was just fun to be around! I was actually sad picking up my dress because I realized my fittings really had come to an end. She created a pretty intricate bustle (ballroom style) that had 17 ribbons to tie and 4 buttons. She clearly numbered everything and made us take a video of her clearly explaining how to bustle my dress before the reception. That was a life saver as it took 3 friends and watching her video (again) to pull me together. The dress fit GREAT and the bustle stayed up! I really cannot recommend Davis enough for alterations, and I especially cannot recommend Iana enough for anything and everything! Thank you, Iana for becoming one of the favorite parts of my wedding planning process!

I had an absolutely incredible experience finding my gown at Grace + Ivory! Tina and Alyssa were truly outstanding throughout the entire process—from helping me try on dresses and scheduling measurement appointments for my custom fit gown, to connecting me with a wonderful seamstress. They were always incredibly responsive and available to answer every question. The made-to-measure fit was impeccable, and I only required minor alterations. The lace detailing was stunning on the Kali dress—I received countless compliments about how beautiful the dress looked on my wedding day. The quality and fit of the dress were everything I had hoped for—exactly what I envisioned. I couldn’t be happier!!

Carla is the BEST of the best! From her designs and fabric to her attention to detail, I cannot thank her enough for making me the perfect dress (and veil). Having worked with her 3+ years (wedding rescheduled multiple times due to COVID), I can say wholeheartedly what a pleasure Carla is to work with. She is beyond talented, professional, responsive, reliable, and goes above and beyond for her brides – from safely storing my dress for years to proactively reaching out for (unlimited) fittings. After trying on dresses at other places, I further appreciated how special and personal she made the entire experience. She listens, shares ideas / solutions, and is extremely patient. She truly cares and another way this shows is how she does the alterations herself. This is rare for the designer of the dress to do, and the result is a meticulously fitting dress. Cannot recommend or thank her enough!!

I am currently looking for a tuxedo or suit for my wedding. By the time I had my appointment at SuitShop, I had been to almost 10 other places and my experience at Suitshop was the best. Brandi was extremely kind and helpful. I never felt pressured to purchase anything as I had felt in some other suit shops and all my questions were answered. Brandi walked me through all the options available and really helped me understand more about suit and tux pieces in general. As a transgender man, suits and tux's were always an area of unknown for me with added stress from my body not being the typical shape for these items of clothing. Receiving guidance through the process and options available was truly appreciated and extremely helpful for moving forward with a purchase. Brandi worked with me to find what sizes and fits worked best for my body, providing honest feedback on every piece and offering alternatives that may work better for me. I would absolutely recommend this store to anyone, especially LGBTQ individuals who need a safe space to shop.

I loved buying an ethical wedding dress, and Celia Grace was amazing to work with! I highly recommend them - especially for their customer service and socially-conscious practices!

Working with Knollswood was such an easy and rewarding experience. Having to reschedule our wedding twice due to COVID, we really needed a company who could be flexible and deliver bespoke services. I had gone through nearly 30 different companies from India and Pakistan to brick-and-mortar stores in the US to get my groomsmen suited for our Bengali-American wedding. None of them could deliver the quality, style, and fit that I needed, especially due to all the supply chain issues COVID was causing. From the first call I had with Karan, Knollswood walked me through every step of the process, helped me design an outfit to me and my wifes liking, and kept me updated all along the way. I cannot recommend Knollswood enough for any South Asian wedding in the States!

Beautiful dress that I wouldn't have found anywhere else. It was a dream dress that was half of my actual budget that i planned on. They made the whole experience easy and fun!

I had an absolutely great experience with Ultimate Bride. Amanda and Greta, in particular, was very kind and helpful throughout my shopping and fitting process. The fit of my dress was excellent and the bustle worked perfectly. Greta did a beautiful job with the alterations and I was given helpful directions for storing/prepping my dress on the wedding weekend. Visiting Ultimate Bride for dress shopping and my alterations were some of the highlights of my whole wedding-planning process.

I knew I wanted a jumpsuit for our reception because I wear them all of the time in real life, but they were surprisingly harder to find than I thought they would be. Enter Veronica, who made the perfect ensemble for me to wear to the party. She is a queen who can make anything and was worth every penny.
