I knew I wanted a Celia Grace dress from the moment I discovered their ethical, fair trade business practices. The idea of wearing a dress that not only made me feel great but also really, truly supported the people and the family that made it was exactly what I was looking for. After looking at the website over and over again I finally had Marcie send me some dresses in the mail. I arranged for a girls brunch morning with my sisters, mom, mother-in-law to be, sister-in-law to be and a few friends. I tried and modeled the dresses in my own living room and got to spend as much time in them as I wanted. I only tried on 5 dresses and I had found my dress! I didn't have to go to crowed dress shops full of hundreds of dresses and lots of other people. Getting the dresses shipped to me and trying them on in my own home was an experience I will never forget. Having that relaxed environment to make my choice was wonderful. Later that evening I even put the dress I choose back on again before packing it back up to send to the shop! Marcie was wonderful to deal with and made everything easy, fun and relaxing. I recommend Celia Grace not only for their ethically sourced wedding dresses but also for their professionalism and personalized service. My dress still makes me smile and I treasure the moments I spent in it on my wedding day.

I found the Celia Grace line and owner/creator Marcie by accident essentially. After spending a day in some of the more traditional chain settings for trying on wedding dresses, I decided to do some web browsing for smaller boutique options in my area. I was amazed to find the listing for Celia Grace as I hadn't recalled seeing a shop anywhere near me; turns out I got the more personalized experience of being invited to Marcie's home base to try on some styles. She was warm, reassuring and pleasant every step of the way. Although the dress I ended up getting was not one of the ones I was most drawn to initially, I knew the moment I put it on it was the one for me. Marcie made every effort to work with me in terms of timing and payment options without ever pressuring me to make a decision in haste; it was absolutely the right way to go. I had tried on similar gowns at other shops, but this one felt light and airy in comparison and knowing that the people who had made it were being compensated for their incredible work made my decision to spend a bit more than I had initially budgeted even easier. She also recommended a local seamstress for my alterations that ended up being a perfect option as they dress I purchased was a sample dress and not initially custom made to my measures. By the time the process was completed, I felt like it had been made specifically for me and was thrilled with the result. I can't speak highly enough about this vendor and the people behind it!!

Not only do they embody their mission, but they produce absolutely beautiful dresses. I wore the Isabel and I loved it so much. I happened across Celia Grace during a Google search for an ethical wedding dress company. I was skeptical buying a wedding dress online, but Marcie made the process so simple. She kept constant communication with me and addressed all of my concerns. Because of her and her team, purchasing my wedding dress was a pleasant experience. When my dress arrived, it was perfect! I couldn't have been happier with it and I'll never forget the experience. I wish more companies had the kind of customer service that Celia Grace exhibits.

I fell in love with the dress first, and then read up on the company and fell in love with their ethos. Marcie was beyond helpful, so positive and informative, and basically the exact person you want to be dealing with while planning a wedding. My dress (the Eleanor) was a dream - light, floaty, airy, made me look and feel like a princess, but wasn't too fussy or fragile, despite the fine fabric. I ended up purchasing it through a local store (Your Big Day Bridal) and Merrie, who helped me there, was also so wonderful. I can't say enough good things!

I loved everything about these dresses. The website initially caught my eye because of the fair trade promise and the more I read about the social mission the more I fell in love. I requested a price and was pleasantly surprised at the price point, and I was able to get a couple dresses shipped to my home in Hawaii to try on.
Marcie has been responsive and wonderful throughout the whole process. I ended up choosing the Eleanor, a simple but beautiful and elegant dress that was perfect for our beach ceremony. If I had it to do all over I wouldn't change a thing.

Since Celia Grace does not have any dresses in any bridal shops near me, I tried the dresses on by picking out which ones I was interested in and Marcie sent them to me to try. At first I was nervous about this as I had no idea what I was looking for but as dresses began to show up, I realized how lucky I was to have this experience. I timed when I was receiving the dresses for when my grandmother and sister were coming to visit. I had my good friend and seamstress also come as she knew how to pin and hold the dress for us to see what it would really look like. I really recommend having a professional around as she took the dress from being oversized to looking glamorous in just a second. All of us were so impressed with the quality of material and craftsmanship. Another part that I so appreciated was that even though I thought I knew which dress I wanted, Marcie encouraged me to try other dresses. From this, it actually led me to picking a dress that was not in my original top picks. I strongly encourage everyone putting on several dresses despite your first impression from the website:)

On my wedding day, I just loved my dress. It was so comfortable and never kept me from doing what I wanted- including jumping on a trampoline, dancing all night, and then wearing it late into the night at the after party! It had such a classic look but was built to keep up with me throughout my big day!
