After a failed attempt to dress shop at David's Bridal, I found myself at Here Comes the Bride and what a difference! They treated us like we mattered and within that same day, I found my wedding dress! From the moment we walked in, to the moment I picked up my dress for my wedding, they have been accommodating and helpful. We even went back for my aunt to look at dresses and then she purchased one too! Over all, my experience was amazing and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

We purchased my husband’s suit and the groomsmen suits at Lorenzo’s for our September 2023 wedding. We loved it for the service, quality, and affordability and also liked supporting local business. We recommend you use Lorenzo’s for your wedding, prom, and business formal needs. Service/Quality: We went to dozens of retail and suit retailers to try to find our groomsmen suits. We preferred suits over tuxes, and we wanted to give our groomsmen the option to buy something they could continue to wear for other events. We wanted a particular color of navy and were hoping for 100% wool, and Lorenzo’s had the perfect option – their Mantoni suits. Vince was a great resource in deciding the vest and ties. Affordability: Out of all the suit stores we visited, this was the most affordable option – and they were higher quality than other suits in the same price tier (eg, 100% wool instead of a blend). This also came with a vest, whereas others in this tier were just the jacket and pants. The tailoring was also affordable and easy. Local: This is the type of place where you enter and they remember your name. They have been in business for many years and are not a chain. It’s really important for me to support local businesses like this so we don’t end up all shopping at Walmart for our bridal needs in the future. Vince and his son are really personable, and we enjoyed working with both of them directly.

I had the best experience at Reddington Bridal! I was a bit nervous going in with my big family with big opinions, but the team at Reddington made the whole experience the highlight of my wedding planning journey so far. I felt like the star of the day, and these ladies gave true VIP treatment. The shop itself is so beautiful, and the dresses are all stunning. I had a vague image of what I wanted, never picturing myself as a big wedding dress girl, but they found me ✨the dress✨ that had my whole family wide eyed with nothing but the best compliments. They added all the extra touches to make it feel like the real deal; shoes, the veil, and a bouquet. I am so obsessed and cannot wait to get back in my dress, and back into Reddington Bridal!

Getting my wedding dress altered at Davis Imperial Cleaners was one of the best decisions I made about our wedding. I do not live in the Chicagoland area, but was getting married there. I live about 3 hours away. I purchased my dress in Atlanta. I reached out to a Chicago salon that sells my dress's designer to ask about their recommendations for alterations. My dress had A LOT of beading so I was very particular about who would take care of it. They directed me to Davis Imperial Cleaners as that is where they send their brides. Iana was absolutely wonderful and I quickly found myself looking forward to traveling to Chicago for my 3 fittings. She made the process so easy by clearly explaining what was needed, giving suggestions and advice, and generally was just fun to be around! I was actually sad picking up my dress because I realized my fittings really had come to an end. She created a pretty intricate bustle (ballroom style) that had 17 ribbons to tie and 4 buttons. She clearly numbered everything and made us take a video of her clearly explaining how to bustle my dress before the reception. That was a life saver as it took 3 friends and watching her video (again) to pull me together. The dress fit GREAT and the bustle stayed up! I really cannot recommend Davis enough for alterations, and I especially cannot recommend Iana enough for anything and everything! Thank you, Iana for becoming one of the favorite parts of my wedding planning process!

Carla is the BEST of the best! From her designs and fabric to her attention to detail, I cannot thank her enough for making me the perfect dress (and veil). Having worked with her 3+ years (wedding rescheduled multiple times due to COVID), I can say wholeheartedly what a pleasure Carla is to work with. She is beyond talented, professional, responsive, reliable, and goes above and beyond for her brides – from safely storing my dress for years to proactively reaching out for (unlimited) fittings. After trying on dresses at other places, I further appreciated how special and personal she made the entire experience. She listens, shares ideas / solutions, and is extremely patient. She truly cares and another way this shows is how she does the alterations herself. This is rare for the designer of the dress to do, and the result is a meticulously fitting dress. Cannot recommend or thank her enough!!

I found my dress at Wolsfelts and had a wonderful experience! The person helping me really listened to what I was looking for in a dress, and immediately could tell when I wasn’t feeling a certain dress or style. Each dress we tried on got closer to the “one”! In the end I was in between two dresses - I was not pressured into making a decision but rather was given a lot of time in both dresses and going in between the two. I ended up coming in the next weekend and choosing my dress!! My experience with alterations was seamless! Would recommend!
