We hired Suarez for our tiered wedding cake and additional tres leches sheet cakes. Everything arrived on time and was delicious! We appreciated the ability to have "fun" flavors in our cake - my husband's favorite is Oreo and he was so happy that we were able to have that as our wedding cake.

We had donuts and salted caramel brownies from Suárez for the dessert table at our wedding and they were so delicious! We had to reschedule our wedding twice because of Covid and the staff was so flexible and willing to work with us. Highly recommend.

We appreciated the consistently beautiful cake designs at Suarez. We choose one of their standard “made-to-order” watercolor design 10-inch cakes for our 20-person wedding, and appreciated that we could try 5 or so different flavors with their $10 tasting offering. We added rosemary from our garden and our florist topped it with fresh flowers which went well with the colors and the pretty gold accents in the frosting!

The wedding cake that we had Suarez bakery make was delicious! We ate it for days and days after the wedding and all of our guests loved it. We had roughly 25 people at our wedding and we got a two-tiered cake (8 in on bottom, 6 in on top), which was plenty. It was very easy to book the cake via email (due to COVID and the fact that I live out of town) and they were easily able to match the inspiration photo I sent over. The strawberry chiffon flavor was the best!

The staff made the tasting so fun and they were also super helpful! The cakes delicious and they have great price options. They even delivered our cake on wedding day so we did not have to worry about picking it up!

We started off scheduling a tasting with Suarez Bakery and were blown away by how delicious all of our options were. It was a struggle to decide on flavors! We ended up creating a small two tier cake to display and cut then a few sheet cakes to have pre-cut and ready to serve to our guests. This by far was the most cost effective option both at Suarez Bakery and definitely more cost effective compared to other bakeries in the area for the same type of order. They were able to deliver everything out to Lake Norman for a small fee, which eliminated our stress over having to potentially transport the cakes ourselves. Will definitely be using Suarez again when I’m in need of a cake for any occasion!

Suarez bakery is our family's long time favorite in Charlotte, and that's because they are simply and consistently the best! We wanted our wedding dessert table to be something fun and different. We liked the idea of having a doughnut spread of all kinds that people could just pick up and eat on the way to the bar - including doughnut holes for those that just wanted a couple bites throughout the reception. However, we had a couple folks with severe Celiac allergies and decided to do at least a small gluten free cake as well. It was also important to us to watch the budget in this area b/c there were other things we felt like needed extra $ and we knew Suarez could deliver a beautiful dessert table without breaking the bank. Suarez brought it all in the day of the wedding and set it up so nicely. Everything was beautiful :) I would highly recommend Suarez for your wedding or birthday cake needs. Their doughnuts and custom cookies are delicious too!

Suarez provided both my wedding cake and my wedding favors, which were an assortment of individually boxed cupcakes. They were an absolute hit. Many people said it was the most delicious wedding cake they ever had and friends asked for more cupcakes after the wedding. Suarez made the overall consultation and ordering process very simple as well. They arrived on time and the cake was perfect. The only downside is that they do not add flowers onsite (delivery driver does not do cake decoration).

I've been purchasing sweet treats from Suárez Bakery for years. I decided to check them out as a vendor for my wedding. This was the first and last place I checked. I filled out an online form and was contacted the same day to set up a consultation/tasting. I was able to try multiple flavors and was given various options for cake types and designs. I pieced together a few looks from Pinterest (and in my head) for how I envisioned my cake. Without any hesitation, she drew up a sketch and promised to make it happen! I decided on a smaller 3 tier cake and an assortment of cupcakes. The decorations were perfect and I was shocked at how reasonably priced everything came out to be. They were flexible on my delivery times. Having an evening wedding, I requested a late delivery and they were able to accommodate.
The cake and cupcakes were absolutely delicious! Guests were lining up to take some home! I would definitely recommend Suárez Bakery to any bride or anyone looking for sweet treats for any event.
