Lindsay was wonderful to work with, and she truly delivered my dream wedding cake. It was absolutely perfect for our autumn celebration. The additional desserts (the chocolate raspberry torte and the apple hand pies) were just as incredible: rich, flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable.

Her shop is adorable, too - full of charming little toys and personality!

We couldn’t be happier with our wedding cake from Lindsay at Gateaux Cakes and Pastries! She truly brought my vision to life with the most gorgeous cake I could have imagined. Not only was it beautifully decorated, but it was also hands down the most delicious cake we’ve ever had! The white cake with cannoli filling and mixed buttercream frosting was out of this world—no cake will ever compare to how amazing it was.

Lindsay made the whole process easy and even delivered our cake, which was such a thoughtful touch. We also loved that she provides a complimentary anniversary tier, so we didn’t have to worry about saving a piece of cake in the freezer, especially if you follow that tradition. We can’t wait to enjoy our cake again when we get our anniversary tier!

For any future special occasions or celebrations, Lindsay will definitely be our go-to for cakes. We highly recommend Gateaux Cakes and Pastries for anyone looking for a stunning and absolutely delicious cake for their big day!

Best cake ever! Usually wedding cakes look beautiful and then you get disappointed when you take that first bite. Well with Gateaux you don’t have to worry about that happening. The cake was absolutely delicious and wish I had an opportunity to be able to eat more. Everyone talked about how much they loved it. Definitely recommend a tasting if it is in your budget and have no clue what you want. We were able to see if we liked the cakes and then had to figure out which one we liked best to serve. Definitely recommend this place for all of your cake needs! If I lived in the area I would be buying all of my cakes for the holidays and any celebrations. Check her store out, you will not regret it.

Working with Lindsay for our wedding cake was a delight! We tried their sample box and found the selections moist & delicious. The process was simple and we got to pick the flavors and sizing we needed. As evidenced by their Instagram page, Lindsay is an artist that provided a custom design draft for a cake that fit us perfectly. On the day, the cake provided was gorgeous and a big hit with our guests. She even took care of picking up and delivering the desserts we ordered from the Hendersonville Co-op to accommodate people with allergies/dietary restrictions. It was such a happy coincidence that, upon finding our venue, Gateaux was the first bakery recommended, because that made one choice for our wedding incredibly easy.

Lindsay did a wonderful job creating cakes that perfectly matched our theme and color scheme. As an added bonus, they were delicious! She also was extremely flexible and did a dairy free cake for allergy purposes that was a hit! Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a cake for any occasion!

Lindsay has the sweetest soul!! She doesn’t force or push you into any decisions, she listens to what you want, and makes it happen!! The way she handles tasting is amazing!!! Not to much how great her cakes taste and look!

Lindsay did such an amazing job on our wedding cake and groom's cake. Not only were they absolutely gorgeous - they tasted SO good. All of our guests were raving about how good they were. Lindsay was also so easy to work with and very accommodating when we had to move our wedding date due to COVID. I would highly recommend working with her!

Easily one of the best decisions of our wedding!! We absolutely loved our wedding cake. I wanted a very colorful, bird of paradise flower themed cake. Lindsay just knocked it out of the park with this design. We had had a LOT of awkward & expensive wedding cake tastings with various vendors prior to finding Gateaux. Once we found Lindsay I was just so relieved and happy - she was incredibly easy to work with, kind, accommodating, excited, and talented. I sent her photos of our venue, the colors, and a few ideas and she totally ran with the theme and made this gorgeous design. Not only are her cakes beautiful, but they TASTE ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. We went with 2 flavors for the 2 tiers - a lemon/blueberry and a tiramisu inspired coffee/cream cheese. And to top it all off, her prices are beyond reasonable.
