Best cake ever! Usually wedding cakes look beautiful and then you get disappointed when you take that first bite. Well with Gateaux you don’t have to worry about that happening. The cake was absolutely delicious and wish I had an opportunity to be able to eat more. Everyone talked about how much they loved it. Definitely recommend a tasting if it is in your budget and have no clue what you want. We were able to see if we liked the cakes and then had to figure out which one we liked best to serve. Definitely recommend this place for all of your cake needs! If I lived in the area I would be buying all of my cakes for the holidays and any celebrations. Check her store out, you will not regret it. -

Working with Lindsay for our wedding cake was a delight! We tried their sample box and found the selections moist & delicious. The process was simple and we got to pick the flavors and sizing we needed. As evidenced by their Instagram page, Lindsay is an artist that provided a custom design draft for a cake that fit us perfectly. On the day, the cake provided was gorgeous and a big hit with our guests. She even took care of picking up and delivering the desserts we ordered from the Hendersonville Co-op to accommodate people with allergies/dietary restrictions. It was such a happy coincidence that, upon finding our venue, Gateaux was the first bakery recommended, because that made one choice for our wedding incredibly easy. -

Lindsay did a wonderful job creating cakes that perfectly matched our theme and color scheme. As an added bonus, they were delicious! She also was extremely flexible and did a dairy free cake for allergy purposes that was a hit! Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a cake for any occasion! -

Wonderfully Sweet
Lindsay is awesome to work with! I asked for her help with a project and she graciously went out of her way to help me. I am always so impressed with her cakes, and I get very happy when I hear our brides have chosen her for their wedding cake. Lindsay will definitely do a wonderful job for you too! -

Amazing all around!!!
Lindsay has the sweetest soul!! She doesn’t force or push you into any decisions, she listens to what you want, and makes it happen!! The way she handles tasting is amazing!!! Not to much how great her cakes taste and look! -

Lindsay did such an amazing job on our wedding cake and groom's cake. Not only were they absolutely gorgeous - they tasted SO good. All of our guests were raving about how good they were. Lindsay was also so easy to work with and very accommodating when we had to move our wedding date due to COVID. I would highly recommend working with her! -

Easily one of the best decisions of our wedding!! We absolutely loved our wedding cake. I wanted a very colorful, bird of paradise flower themed cake. Lindsay just knocked it out of the park with this design. We had had a LOT of awkward & expensive wedding cake tastings with various vendors prior to finding Gateaux. Once we found Lindsay I was just so relieved and happy - she was incredibly easy to work with, kind, accommodating, excited, and talented. I sent her photos of our venue, the colors, and a few ideas and she totally ran with the theme and made this gorgeous design. Not only are her cakes beautiful, but they TASTE ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. We went with 2 flavors for the 2 tiers - a lemon/blueberry and a tiramisu inspired coffee/cream cheese. And to top it all off, her prices are beyond reasonable. You won't find a better wedding cake bakery in WNC! Thank you so much Lindsay! -The Monacos -

Lindsay and Gateaux were absolutely amazing to work with!
We got married in Asheville and Lindsay helped us cover all of our dessert bases!
She made delicious oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and macaron favors, mini desserts for the welcome party, a forest themed groom’s cake for my Park Ranger husband, and a stunning wedding cake covered in handmade anemone sugar flowers.
The wedding cake really became the centerpiece of our tent! It was just beautiful.
Every dessert added a bit of personality to the evening(s) and in addition to being pretty, they were also delicious! I couldn’t recommend Lindsay and Gateaux Bakery enough!!
To top it off, communication was a breeze and there were zero hiccups along the way! -

Gateaux did the most wonderful job on our wedding cake and cupcakes. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and finished product. Lindsay was so easy to work with from start to finish. Her kindness, patience, and attention to detail was out of this world. All of our guests RAVED about our cakes and cupcakes, saying they were the best wedding deserts they have ever had. I wished I lived in Hendersonville so I could have them do all of my big life event cakes! -

Lindsey is the most customer friendly vendor who delivered exactly what we wanted! Our cake was so beautiful and honestly one of the most delicious cakes we've had. Her prices were very reasonable and she worked with us to give us everything we imagined! We couldn't have been more happier with our cake! -
Valerie Sent on 10/11/2018Gateaux made my wedding cake and cupcakes for our guest last month and they did an excellent job! The cake tasting was a wonderful experience. They made 4 types of cupcakes with fillings and everyone enjoyed the variety. The presentation was beautiful! Highly recommended!

Abbie Sent on 09/19/2018Overall from start to finish we had an amazing experience with Gateaux’s. We went in for a tasting and fell absolutely in love with their carrot cake with goat cheese filling. It was sooo delicious. I ate way too much cake after the wedding. They were super easy to communicate with, very reasonable, and I think their flavors and creations are very unique. I would highly recommend using them!

Amanda Sent on 12/07/2017I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience with Lindsay and her team at Gateaux. Our venue recommended Gateaux to us, and from the moment I first contact Lindsay, she was extremely flexible, gracious, and accommodating. She was professional and responsive, two traits that were especially helpful to me as I planned our Western, NC wedding from Washington, DC. Lindsay even arranged for us to have a cake tasting with my parents and (then) fiance. A few weeks before our wedding, when I threw a crazy idea to Lindsay that we also do a groom's cake for our rehearsal dinner, she was up to the challenge, designing a cake that would put anything on Pinterest to shame (tasted delicious too). Our wedding cake had two flavors--pumpkin and chocolate stout. It was beautiful and simple. Many of our guests claimed it was the best cake they'd ever had. Lindsay and her staff set up for the rehearsal and wedding with no problems. They were one of the easiest and most professional vendors we used on for our wedding. Highly, highly, highly recommend Gateaux!

Kristen Sent on 11/28/2017We LOVED our cakes from Gateaux! We ordered petit fours, a cake for our rehearsal dinner, cake pops and a small smash cake and couldn't have been more pleased. Gorgeous cakes and very yummy!
