Wedding Cakes in Charlotte

We hired them last year for our small backyard wedding in Charlotte, and then couldn't find anyone better in Asheville for our celebration so we paid for them to deliver it to our venue. Last year's cake (the little one) was gorgeous and delicious. This year's was as well (a bit melty in the pictures because it was SO HOT that day). Due to dietary restrictions, we wanted a gluten free, dairy free, and corn free cake--and they not only did it, it was delicious. We went for chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and a coffee 'buttercream' frosting and it was just so tasty. I appreciate their reliability--the cakes have always been delicious (we've done some other moments with simpler cakes too).

Our cake was delicious and beautiful! It was the best cake tasting we had and the day of the wedding it was exactly the same. Laura was so easy to work with. She makes delicious cakes and her icing is wonderful. I am so glad we have some wedding cake leftovers!!!

Christina and her company could not have done a more fabulous job. Everyone raved about the professionalism, taste and presentation. She was great to deal with considering the time lines she had to work with for us and no doubt she and her company are rising stars.

I ordered cupcakes from Gigi's for my husband's surprise birthday party! Everything was on point from first contact to day of pick up! We had the white spice cake with vanilla icing and caramel drizzle infused with the Hennessey. OMG Everyone raved about how awesome they were!! Let me just say... Not only will I order from Gigi's again but Gigi's will have some new customers calling to place orders! :-) Thank you Gigi's for helping make my husband's party a success!!!

The cake at my own wedding was the best wedding cake I’d ever tasted thanks to her! Almond cake with chocolate raspberry filling😋 10/10

A&J Sweetz exceeded every expectation we had—and then some. Asja’s talent is truly exceptional, and we are so incredibly grateful for the care, creativity, and passion she poured into every single dessert for our wedding. The star of the show was our Amaretto cake with Dulce de Leche filling, which was nothing short of divine. The flavors were rich, perfectly balanced, and unforgettable—every bite felt indulgent in the best way. The buttercream was absolutely phenomenal: smooth, luscious, and expertly crafted, complementing the cake beautifully without ever feeling too heavy or overly sweet. And visually, the cake was elegant, refined, and exactly what we had wanted—it couldn’t have been more perfect for our day! Our guests could not stop raving about the desserts, especially the cheesecake shooters, which were an absolute hit. The variety was incredible—Raspberry, Oreo Mousse, and Key Lime—and each one was bursting with flavor! They were devoured almost instantly! The Chocolate Covered Strawberries were another favorite; we found ourselves going back for more throughout the reception because they were just that good—fresh, decadent, and beautifully done. Beyond the desserts themselves, Asja was an absolute dream to work with. She was kind, responsive, and made the entire process feel effortless and enjoyable. Her attention to detail and commitment to delivering exactly what we wanted truly set her apart. We are already so excited to celebrate again with the mini anniversary cake she made for us—it’s such a thoughtful and special touch that speaks volumes about her dedication to her clients. Kathy did the cake for our daughter's wedding and it was EXACTLY what our daughter had said she wanted and looked just like the wonderful sketch she had made the night we tasted her different flavors. Everything about the cake, it's presentation, set-up, serving was absolutely perfect and equally importantly, it tasted great! I'm so glad we chose Kathy to make the cake and also just as pleased that Ron and their son took the pictures and made a lovely short video of the wedding. Finally, if you want the very best quality, at a very fare fee, completely worry free.....here's your cake, I think your'e going to love it.

Silver's Sweets offers a decadent dessert of multiple flavors to choose from. One of my favorites is her Berry Velvet and it is rich, moist, and fulfilling! Not only does she offer great tasting cakes and cupcakes she offers custom cakes that look just like the picture that you provide. The owner is an awesome person and is dedicated to ensuring that your cake needs are satisfied. People are still talking about my wedding cake that boasted of 3 different flavors and a different design on each tier. If you are looking for cake perfection you should definitely give her a call.

Emma and her crew at Southern Cake Queen were so receptive to what we wanted for our wedding. We had full confidence in the promptness and quality of the cupcakes. And most importantly, YUM! I can't count the number of guests who have commented on how these were the most delicious cupcakes they have ever tasted!
