I ordered cupcakes from Gigi's for my husband's surprise birthday party! Everything was on point from first contact to day of pick up! We had the white spice cake with vanilla icing and caramel drizzle infused with the Hennessey. OMG Everyone raved about how awesome they were!! Let me just say... Not only will I order from Gigi's again but Gigi's will have some new customers calling to place orders! :-) Thank you Gigi's for helping make my husband's party a success!!!

We ordered 72 cupcakes and our wedding cake from Gigi's in southpark. Our guest RAVED over our cupcakes & our wedding cake not only tasted amazing was beautiful too!!

We went in for our tasting to pick our "his and her" cupcakes. They are so accommodating and let us come in when it worked for our schedule. They then let you taste 6 cupcakes of your choice complimentary to help with your decision. We loved them all ( and had a major sugar buzz going :D ) and were very happy with the experience. They have a lot of options for your wedding (such as changing icing colors to match your wedding colors, etc) and will even deliver the day of so it takes the stress of. They make it all very easy to have a delicious dessert on your big day if you are looking for something different. They do make the cupcakes in a cake form, however, the cupcakes are just too darn cute not to purchase!!

I am still hearing from my guests how scrumptious those cupcakes were!! I have learned over the years that if you order a cake you will be left with almost the whole cake since everyone is "dieting" but everyone will take a cupcake. I had a very simple wedding and decided gourmet cupcakes were the way to go. And boy, did Gigi's delivery!! I ordered the Pumpkin Spice, White Magic, and Wedding Cake flavors for guests to choose from - every single one of them were mouthwatering!! I got a little nervous after placing my order online and didn't hear from them to collect payment until the day before I was to pick them up and then they had to call back because they didn't get the info right the first time for payment. But other than that small hiccup everything went smoothly. Thank-you so much Gigi's!! I will be coming to you guys from now on for all my sweet tooth needs!

The cupcakes were amazing!!! People loved the Reece's and Kentucky Bourbon. When we initially placed the order the person who wrote it down never entered it in the system. We thankfully went back to buy some cupcakes for family to try and when we mentioned the order they were clueless. So, we placed another order. We then checked back often because we didn't want our order to be forgotten. They also forgot a tier for the cupcakes when delivered but our caterer was awesome and had one. Overall, the cupcakes were a good price and very tasty though.

We used Gigi's for our wedding cupcakes...we had four varieties of mini cupcakes for our guest and two standard cupcakes for our cake cutting. First, I will say that the cupcakes were delicious and our guests loved them. It was nice to be able to choose any flavor for our mini cupcakes as many other bakeries in town only offer certain flavors as mini cupcakes. The cupcakes were delivered on time and set up beautifully. The reason I can't give Gigi's 5 stars is because of our pre-wedding experience with Gigi's. When calling to confirm and make a change to our order a couple of weeks prior to our wedding, the individual who answered the phone was unable to assist me and could not provide any confirmation. I was told that I would need to speak to the manager - the individual did not offer to take a message, I had to instead, ask if he would pass a message on to his manager to call me back. I heard back from the manager a couple of days later and asked to have a revised order form emailed to me - when received, it was not correct and I had to request a brand new form to be sent to me. The new order form was sent in a timely manner and reflected the correct information. The manager was apologetic when I provided some feedback on my lack of confidence in his staff. I would recommend Gigi's as their cupcakes are delicious but if they are going to remain a vendor for weddings, they need to work on their customer service. The employees who answer the phone have absolutely no knowledge of wedding orders and don't provide a whole lot of confidence that orders will be completed as expected.

We hired Gigi's Cupcakes for our wedding in June 2017. We went in and tasted several cakes and they were all delicious! The tasting was great and the service was very friendly. We decided on a small cake for our cake and mini cupcakes for all of our guests. The pricing was great and we left feeling good about our decision. Once we left, we realized we didn't really have much of a contract to refer to, so reached out several times trying to get one or at least some documentation stating what we ordered, cost, and what we paid for already - this was apparently a daunting task and we were told that they "don't do contracts". So we just tried to keep copies of our receipts and cross our fingers that all would work out alright.
Our wedding planner worked with our vendors so we thank her for connecting with Gigi's and coordinating all the delivery details. The cake and cupcakes were delicious - but we have to share our disappointment in the color of our cake that day. In our consult we looked at pictures and thought we had a complete understanding of mint green coloring. Our small cake was supposed to be mint green frosting and half our cupcakes also in mint green frosting and the other half in a coral color frosting.
On wedding day you can imagine our surprise to walk into our reception room with everything decorated in mint green and coral to see our cake in the corner of the room in a bright blue. The cupcakes were also frosted in a similar blue which was really disappointing when we ordered a completely different color. We are pretty easy going and loved our special day, but looking back and even in pictures, it kills us to see the bright blue cake on our mint green day.
Be really specific about color (and pray on the big day they come as you asked!) but otherwise, you can't beat the price and the cakes are really tasty.

HORRIBLE!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Granted I ordered a cake from a "cupcake" establishment, but NEVER AGAIN!! PRESENTATION FAILURE!! I was embarrassed to serve it to kids!! The writing on the cake was SLOPPY and UNPROFESSIONAL. The lines were crooked and unexplainable grapping between letters. Not written in cursive as usual, clearly the decorator doesn't know how to write in cursive and made numerous mistake due to not being able to flow with the writing utensil. On top of the sloppy cake to add insult I was charged $70 for a cake that looked like it was decorated by a 5th grader. NEVER AGAIN!! Please see the photo of the cake Happy Birthday Patrick.. No further explanation would be required. Save your money and time and go somewhere else!! RECOMMEND Sweet Cakes Bakery in Cornelius. They've always made beautiful cakes for me and worth every DOLLAR!! Will drive the extra miles next time!!
