Steve and his team were a dream to work with. The sneak peak of pictures we saw of our daughters wedding are amazing. Can't wait for the others! It's going to be tough picking the ones we want. I would highly recommend Steve Canning. Wonderful!!

Steve is a truly talented photographer, creative in considering settings for photos and very aware of how to highlight the best features of his subjects. He took the most amazing engagement and wedding photos for us, and managed to make everyone in them look good. Many family members and friends told us that they found him to be very friendly and personable. During the wedding and reception, he was very unobtrusive and took many great candid shots. We were surprised to see some of the photos because we had not noticed that he was capturing some of the special moments.

We also love the gorgeous photo album that Steve created for us. Because he took so many wonderful photos, we really had a hard time selecting shots for the album. Once we were finally able to make our selections, Steve prepared a beautiful layout so that the photo album tells the story of our special day. The photo album will be a cherished keepsake. We feel very fortunate that Steve was the photographer for our wedding and highly recommend him.

My wife and I picked Steve (and his colleague Dustin Lilley) as the photographers for our wedding in DC in November. Steve was among a couple vendors recommended by our wedding planner. We had planned to meet all the recommended photographers but stopped after meeting Steve because we had a sense that he was the right choice. Steve is very easy to work with, friendly and calm. I wouldn't have thought that calm would matter that much but the wedding day is hectic and Steve's style was reassuring throughout.

Since our event required two photographers Steve brought his colleague Dustin as well. To be clear, the 5 stars is for both of them since they both did equally excellent work. Steve has a more traditional style and Dustin is more artsy for lack of the proper terms. Having the combination of their shots left us with a fun and balanced selection of shots from the wedding. We are so glad to have them.

We also hired Steve for our engagement pics and the rehearsal dinner. Everything was great.

At the end of the day Steve and Dustin provide an excellent service, are talented photographers and all around good guys. Steve's wife Nicole helps with the business too and though we didn't meet her she seemed great too. My wife and I recommend Steve Canning Photography without hesitation.
