My husband and I are not the most comfortable people in front of the camera, but Misty really put us at ease and got some truly wonderful photos for both our engagement shoot and the wedding itself. Not only were the photos themselves gorgeous, but Misty sent us the prettiest flash drive (wood with one of our photos printed on it!) and three extra black and white prints (one the size of an album cover -- so cool!). These personal touches were so unexpected and lovely.

The day of our wedding, we had some issues with torrential downpours and late buses, but Misty rearranged the photo timeline to fit everything in perfectly so we were still able to maximize our time with guests.

Hands down, Misty was one of the best things about our wedding! :)

Misty is amazing! She was our wedding photographer and we could not have been more impressed. We did our engagement, wedding and a separate bridal shoot and each shoot was a memorable experience. Misty’s skills and personality make her a pleasure to work with. She makes it easy to feel comfortable in front of the camera, even if you're typically a little camera shy. We have loved all of the pictures from all of the shoots. We really appreciate her ability to find the artful, elegant, and unique shots that make our special day even more special. We even had a bit of rain on our wedding day and Misty grabbed a small umbrella and continue shooting with one hand. We are so lucky to have found such a wonderful photographer, and to have gotten to know her over the past year!

We hired Misty for our wedding held in April at the Wayside Inn in Middletown, Virginia. In looking for a photographer, we wanted someone whose style fit our rustic, vintage venue and Misty was the perfect choice for our wedding. We booked her rather early in the planning process and throughout our engagement; she was very attentive and checked in often to see how our planning was going. I ended up having a snafu with a local hair salon a month out and she offered some great suggestions for alternative hair stylists for the day of our wedding. I would highly recommend Misty to anyone looking for a photographer, whether it’s for family portraits, engagement shoots, or for your wedding day. Her work is absolutely beautiful. On our wedding day, we ended up having not-so-favorable weather and she helped make the hectic day go by so smoothly. I didn’t hire a videographer and thought I may regret it, but once we received our photos, I saw how perfectly she captured the story of our day and now I don’t regret it one bit. She provided us with so much more than we had expected and are truly touched by the thought and care she put into our photos and wedding package. I am looking forward to working with Misty in the future.
