Moments and Milestones is a wedding planning and coordination service based in Georgetown, Texas. We take pride in making every wedding and event affordable and intimate by focusing on a limited number of weddings each month. That way you get the one-on-one attention you deserve and you can host a celebration to remember. From the first consultation to the final send-off, we are ready to organize an event filled with personality and charm for you. To reserve your date, a retainer of 50% of the price is requested along with a signed contract provided by us. MOST of the services provided are listed below (but not all). We like to try to customize some of the duties based on each events “needs”.
Coordination:

From the first consultation to the final send-off, we are ready to organize an event filled with personality and charm for you. Unlimited email communication from the date of contract/agreement to the event.

From the time of booking until the month before, we will have on average 3-5 status meetings to make sure you are staying on a good “planning pace” and not missing any details along the way.

If you need any vendor recommendations, we will always pass along basic information so you can reach out to the best vendors.

We will meet to create your event timeline, Floorplans, and go over your décor details 1-2 months before your event.

We will communicate the event timeline and set-up all preferred arrival times with the vendors, along with location directions, and any other “needs” they may have.

1-2 weeks before the wedding day, we contact vendors to verify details of their services, discuss remaining balances, and distribute the day-of itinerary of arrival times.

Rehearsal (1 hour):

Attend wedding rehearsal and provide necessary assistance per request of the couple.

Help with any prior set-up of decorations that can be completed at rehearsal.

On the Wedding Day:

Arrive at venue when vendors and deliveries arrive to provide smooth set-up for the event. Since each venue is different, we arrive as early as needed and possible, and stay till the end of the rental period. We are the last to leave typically.

Set-up personal decorations, favors, place cards, candles, etc. that are needed to make the day special and about YOU.

Distribute personal flowers to wedding party, family, and special guests. Including pinning of boutonnieres and corsages.

Ensure remaining payments and tips are given to vendors, if needed.

On-site coordination and supervision of the ceremony and reception during the entirety of the event. Besides being the point person for ALL vendors, this would also include coordinating the “events” such as que the DJ and bridal party at the ceremony, grand entrance into reception, toasts, cake cutting, grand exit, etc.

Problem solve as needed.

Once the event is completed, we assist with vendor and personal décor clean-up along with helping with loading up personal items and leftover food into the appropriate vehicle.

Most events will include a lead coordination and an assistant. This is based on the guest count and complexity of your wedding.

Hey Everyone! I am Heather and the owner/lead coordinator. I started this venture after leaving a career in Healthcare Accounting & Operations, to be able to spend more quality time with my husband and son, along with following my passion. While working in Healthcare, I assisted at The Plantation House from 2010, which is where I grew to LOVE weddings and helping couple enjoy their day to the fullest. I take pride in providing quality wedding/event coordinating and making sure everyone can have a stress free event.
