Gave good suggestions on how to improve our wedding experience and then executed flawlessly. Staff was positive and worked long and hard

We loved working with Mona from start to finish. She was thorough and quick to respond to all correspondance. The night of our wedding the staff from PEJ Events were attentive and professional and the food/service was top notch! I'd recommend PEJ Events to anyone looking for a catering company for any event they've got planned.

My husband and I worked with Jason - He was FANTASTIC! Stayed on top of everything, kept in touch, and even got us the peach tea for our wedding instead of regular tea:-) The catering crew on the day of was exceptionally friendly and helpful, one of them even said "Thank you for letting us be a part of your day!" as they were leaving. The food was tasty, we had a lot of out-of-towners who never had Texas BBQ before, so that was fun. We researched a lot of caterers before selecting Pok-e-Jo's and they were by far the most affordable. Great overall experience.

I seriously have nothing but positive things to say about Pok-e-Jo’s and Jason King. They were phenomenal from start to finish and it was a pleasure to work with Jason. I could list a million reasons to go with Pok-e-Jo’s, but will spare you all and just provide a few of the many highlights.

First of all, the price cannot be beat – I’m talking literally half of what other vendors were quoting us. And that was after we customized our contract to add in real china, silverware, and glassware, table linens, table runners, 3 giant farmhouse tables, table setting service (having the silverware and napkins pre-placed at the tables instead of rolled), bar service, cake cutting, and cleanup. Not even kidding. Moreover, everything looked beautiful.

But the most important thing was that our guests love the food. No problem there. I can’t begin to tell you how many guests raved about the BBQ. There was a ton of food and everything was delicious (my husband’s uncle went back to the buffet 4 times – that’s how good it was!).

The thing that will stick with me most, however, is the level of customer service I received. Jason was by far the most responsive vendor we had. I remember I emailed him with a random question one night at 10 pm or so. I wasn’t expecting a response until the next day, but Jason wrote back within minutes, literally. More than that, he signed off his email by asking “What else can I help you with?” THAT is customer service, and that was his attitude throughout the whole planning process. I cannot recommend these guys enough!!

Working with Cara was amazing. She quickly responded to all of my questions with very thorough answers. We had never had Pokey-Jo's before we booked them as we were from out of town, but the food was so delicious!

I went with Pokejos for my wedding after I found out my original caterer was a fraud! I called Pokejos frantic about a month before my wedding trying to schedule another caterer. I am SO incredibly impressed! I should have just gone with them in the first place! I spoke with a guy named Jason, and he was amazing. He was so responsive to all of my emails. most of the time he would email me back immediately! I already knew I liked the food so that was never an issue. The food was AMAZING as always at my wedding and all of our guests kept saying how great everything was. I also heard a lot of compliments about the staff. All of the staff were so nice but you almost didn't notice they were there which is awesome too. They were on top off all the bussing and I never saw a table full of dirty plates once! I would HIGHLY recommend you book Pokejos for your wedding or event!

WOW! I could not recommend PEJ Events more! Mona (PEJ’s coordinator) was an absolute dream to work with. She helped us serve our guests while sticking to our budget. And the quality of food WOW! Above any of our other vendors, our guests are still raving about how delicious the food was. When my now husband wanted a BBQ buffet for our wedding, I was worried it would have a “backyard barbeque” feel, but that was not the case. The food was incredible, the setup was elegant, and the staff had unparalleled service. I cannot recommend PEJ more, and we will certainly use them again at any future event we have!

Pok-e Joe's staff and Jason did an amazing job. They arrived on time and set up quickly. There was plenty of food for everyone and even packaged up the leftovers for us. I have had so many guests raving about the great BBQ. We also hired them to do the clean up afterwards and they did an outstanding job, above and beyond. Thank you so much!!

They were fantastic! Not only did they have a wonderful package deal with our venue, they were super responsive and helpful getting our tasting setup and all the other details leading up to the wedding. We went with the ribs, brisket, jalapeno cornbread, broccoli salad and baked potato casserole… let me tell you, everything was GREAT!!! All of our guests kept complimenting the food and asked about it all weekend. Some of our out-of-town guests even went to eat at a local Pokejo’s one more time before they left. They were PERFECT. Simply delicious. We had a huge wedding but they got everyone served quickly and efficiently. Just an excellent vendor. We are so grateful. Thank you Lori for all of your help and patience!!!
