Kendra “Kenn” Dildy grew up in the small town of Conway, North Carolina. There she spent years figuring out who she really was, with a constant desire to fit in, but it always seemed like something was missing. It was her coming into her beauty and love for makeup that helped her to see that her passion was truly beautification. She knew she wanted to be CEO of her own empire one day but did not know exactly how to do it. Being a firm believer in God, on a journey to find her true self she decided that if she follows her heart and the vision that’s meant for her she could conquer her dreams and live the life she desires. During her matriculation at Winston-Salem State University, she began to dabble more and more into the makeup and high fashion industry. WSSU introduced her to a vast array of attitudes, and cultures. While attending college she began to experiment with lots of new, abstract, trendy beauty styles with people being whomever they wanted to be and on-lookers accepting their individualism. Then and there she decided that one day she would come into her own way and do whatever was in her heart to strive in the industry. While obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, she was inspired to do something in the world of beauty and change it one face at a time. After attending multiple classes with “Makeup Artist Studios”, out of Richmond, VA she broke ground with her first individually owned and operated business, “KENN-U-IMAGINE makeup artistry by Kenn” in order to prove her talents. Living in Virginia and working for Norfolk Naval Shipyard opened her up to tons of business opportunities where she performed her services for weddings, proms, professional photo shoots individual spa sessions, skin treatments, girl group parties and workshops however, she did not want to stop there. Being a Makeup artist was nice and being able to have a secondary means of financial income was great, but she saw more. She prayed and asked God to help her expand her business and dreams so she may live the life she envisioned. With that she was introduced to the idea of Paint Me Pretty LLC. JaLauna Anderson and Candice Douglas as well shared similar thoughts, visions and dreams of wanting to become giants in the beauty industry; so now here they are. PMP4u is planning to take the beauty world by storm and cultivate new and innovative means to produce classy, elegant, fashionable, healthy everyday women not only just by makeup, but through every avenue of beauty possible. Kenn’s love of God and creative mindset, is opening her up to endless possibilities in which she shares with her current clients and anyone desiring self-improvement. She realizes, she’s here to make a difference and plans to do it one step at a time.
