I got married in September and had Alana do the makeup for myself and 4 other wedding party members. She was amazing! Being biracial and after a bad experience from my junior prom years ago, I was wary of hiring a makeup artist for myself for my wedding. However, Alana’s portfolio includes clients with all sorts of skin tones that it gave me the (much needed) reassurance to trust her to make me and my bridal party look beautiful! She was easy to communicate and work with throughout the process and gave me some good advice when I had questions. During my bridal trial, it was easy to come up with the moody look I was hoping for without going overly glam. And on the day of, my makeup matched the trial makeup and then some!

I felt like a goddess on my wedding day, and while the dress helped, it was Alana’s makeup that did it the trick! 100/10 recommend! 💕

Alana was great to work with. I wanted a makeup artist who had worked with different skin types and tones. The trial went smoothly and I loved the look. Alana was easy to communicate with and flexible. Greatly appreciate her for traveling to the OBX. For the day of Alana planned to have an assistant, but COVID had other plans. She let me know and the day of we adjusted. Alana took her time with everyone and we all looked absolutely beautiful. The makeup lasted all evening.
