Sharra and her assistant did hair and makeup for me and my four bridesmaids. Everyone looked naturally beautiful and it lasted throughout the day and evening. Would absolutely hire her again!

Sharra was a superstar! She was extremely helpful and kind during the entire process of planning. She was also extremely flexible with all of my bridesmaids and was willing to do a huge variety of styles according to what everyone wanted. I absolutely loved my wedding day hair & I cannot recommend her enough!

Sharra and her assistant were wonderful. From the start of the hiring process to the day of my wedding, she was responsive, easy to work with, organized, flexible, and truly understood how I wanted my hair and makeup to look on the day of my wedding. The hair and make up trial was invaluable. I got to see what I thought I wanted for my wedding day before hand so I could tweak small details. They were very organized and brought everything that was needed for hair and make up day of. I loved the schedule she sent before hand. My bridesmaids knew what time they were getting their hair and makeup done which made the day run smoothly. I also made a mistake and purchased the wrong type of hair extensions, but Sharra worked her magic and it worked out perfectly! I would definitely recommend Beauty by Sharra to anyone getting married in the Hampton Roads area.

I wore my hair half up with flowing curls for my wedding. This was so that I could have a cathedral length veil hold in my hair. Sharra had great suggestions on how to work the veil in with how stick straight and thin my hair is.
Post trial, we decided to add hair extensions for more volume. Sharra had great advice on hair extensions and put them in effortlessly on wedding day.
On wedding day Sharra was prompt with her arrival time, set up quickly, and stayed on schedule with the wedding party. Her pricing is fair and I feel that I got my monies worth for sure.
Sharra is incredibly kind and easy to relate to. I had a great time getting to know her at the hair trial. Most importantly she wants to make sure that you are happy. She was open to the changes that I wanted to do to the hair style post trial and made my hair look like a princess on wedding day.

I have nothing but good things to say about Sharra! I came from out of state to receive her hair and makeup services and communication with her was quick and easy. She arrived on time and set up quickly. The process was relaxing and fun and both my makeup and hair came out stunning! Sharra came in the morning, but my hair and makeup lasted throughout the day all the way until I took it out/off in the late evening. It even lasted through the happy tears of getting married. I got so many compliments! I would highly recommend Sharra and would happily use her again.

Sharra and one of her colleagues did our hair for my wedding day. We had a lot of fun with our "girl talk" while we were getting ready! They were super nice, very professional, and did a great job! Sharra invited not only me to her house for my bridal hair trial, but also my parents. I live a couple of hours away from her and was nervous about the drive, so my dad drove my mom and I. Sharra was very nice and gave my dad the tv remote and he was good to go lol. My mom went upstairs with us, where my hair trial took place. It was very nice of her to let my parents come and we all enjoyed talking to her! She is so sweet!

Sharra did an amazing job on my wedding make up, and she was extremely flexible and fast. I loved that she sent over a schedule with time slots for me and my bridal party, and I loved my makeup on my wedding day (especially my super giant lashes). Thank you, Sharra!

I was a little hesitant in booking a makeup artist for my wedding day, because I have had bad experiences in the past. I was talking to a friend my mine about it who had been in a dozen or so wedding, and she recommended Sharra. She set that Sharra was amazing and does really great airbrush makeup that makes the bride and all of her bridesmaids look as amazing as they should on their wedding day. Based off of her recommendation, I immediately booked a bridal trial with Sharra for both myself and my mom (Hey, Mom’s got to look good too!). At the trial, Sharra sat us down and listened to our concerns. She examined our faces and analyzed the color and the best type of makeup for our skin. Sharra took her time making us look the best we could be and made sure that we were happy with the result. At the end of the trial, I gave Sharra a few minor adjustments I wanted made and she made note on my sheet to ensure that she would make them on my wedding day. The trial gave my mom and I a great sense of what a wonderful woman Sharra was, and we left her chair looking and feeling so beautiful that we went ahead and booked her immediately. My mother and I had such a great time at the trial, and we both left her chair looking so beautiful that we booked Sharra immediately! Shortly after the trial, Sharra sent a timeline that laid out the times that each of my bridesmaids should sit in her chair, which was very helpful in planning my big day! On the day of the wedding, Sharra came in and set up quietly. She brought her big bright beauty lights which was very professional and showed her understanding of needing to see the face that she was applying makeup too. Needless to say, my bridesmaids, my mother and my mother in law all ended up looking FLAWLESS! I would highly recommend!!

Sharra was amazing! She helped me schedule my trial while also coordinating with my make-up artist so I could get the full pictures. On the day-of, she and her teammate helped keep the low-key vibe I was looking for, while also executing some awesome hair for my wedding party and me.

Sharra was nothing short from amazing! She was very super sweet from my first interaction for my Wedding makeup Trial to the day of my wedding! My whole wedding party just adored her and thought she very attentive in getting the look they wanted from just pictures they had. She was very understanding in what I wanted for my day of bridal look-simple but more then I usually use. She always was very accommodating with my mother as well who doesn't use others makeup but her own and Sharra didn't skip a beat in using my mothers makeup for her.
