  Amazing vendor💕

  I got married in September and had Alana do the makeup for myself and 4 other wedding party members. She was amazing! Being biracial and after a bad experience from my junior prom years ago, I was wary of hiring a makeup artist for myself for my wedding. However, Alana’s portfolio includes clients with all sorts of skin tones that it gave me the (much needed) reassurance to trust her to make me and my bridal party look beautiful! She was easy to communicate and work with throughout the process and gave me some good advice when I had questions. During my bridal trial, it was easy to come up with the moody look I was hoping for without going overly glam. And on the day of, my makeup matched the trial makeup and then some!
  
  I felt like a goddess on my wedding day, and while the dress helped, it was Alana’s makeup that did it the trick! 100/10 recommend! 💕

  Amazing work

  Alana is amazing! She has done my makeup a few times but the makeup she did for my wedding was by far my favorite. She is always so kind and fun to hangout with while she’s doing makeup. She also added in someone last minute and was so accommodating. Highly recommend her for any special event!!

  I absolutely love Bella Vita Artistry! She does such incredible make up. I had my make up first done as a maid of honor in my sister’s wedding and of course once I finally got married I had to have her do my make up too! Everything about her is amazing.

  May Wedding

  Alana did my bridesmaids, my mother, mother in law and my makeup for my May wedding. She was absolutely amazing! Everyone loved their makeup look and they loved how she vibed so well with us. I was pretty Type A when it came to my wedding and wanted to make sure my wedding started right on time. Alana did everything she could to make sure she finished on time and she did! She made sure we weren’t going to run late. It meant everything to me! Alana has done my makeup before my wedding and it’s perfect every time. I definitely recommend her for all makeup needs! She never disappoints. She’s professional, she’s sweet and she makes you feel like you’ve been long time friends. I appreciate her so much and will continue to go to her for all events 😊

  Not only did I have the best experience with Alana on my wedding day in 2020 but had the pleasure of sitting in her chair again as a bridesmaid recently! The bride was a bridesmaid in my wedding and asked for Alana because she absolutely had to have her! Her talent is unmatched and would highly recommend her!

  Alana was an absolute joy, she exceeded expectations and then some. I was so happy to have the opportunity for a trial make-up session. She contracted a second artist to help with the large group of ladies and came to the wedding venue early with a great attitude and smiling and making everyone feel super special. I’ve never felt so beautiful! There isn’t a filter that exists that can make you look as beautiful as Alana’s magical make-up brushes. 100% highly recommended!!!!! ❤️

  A vibe you NEED!

  My husband and I decided to have a 5 year vow renewal wedding this year since we did not have an initial wedding. We booked our venue in VA Beach and I found the most beautiful, kind, and down to earth makeup artist! Alana, the owner of Bella Vita Artistry, is so attentive and knowledgeable about her craft. She responds quick and affordable. My bridesmaids and I enjoyed her on the wedding day because she came in with a positive vibe! Not to mention, she arrived way early and was already set up and ready to go! If we decide to have a 10 year reunion wedding, she is on my list to hire again! I highly recommend!! Thank you so much!

  Hire Alana!!!!

  10/10 would recommend Alana. When my first hired artist could no longer commit to my wedding, Alana came through and I am soooo glad she did. First, lets start with my bridal trial... she did my trial on the day of my bridal shower and I got so many compliments from friends and family. I would definitely suggest doing your trial on a special day, so you look fantastic for all your events. On the day of my wedding she showed up on time, stayed perfectly on schedule with all 4 bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and myself. She had all equipment she could possibly need. Her makeup and gear were thoroughly cleaned between each client. She fit right in with my girls -making the getting ready process so much fun. We all absolutely loved our makeup. Even my mother who does not like makeup at all, loved the way Alana made her mature skin look so glowy and smooth. Do yourself a favor and hire Alana for all events, especially weddings.

  Alana’s talent is unmatched! She’s personable, professional, and truly a master of her craft! She even traveled over an hour to my wedding venue for my 2/29/2020 wedding to glam 8 of us and did so flawlessly! I felt (and looked) beautiful throughout the entire day to night. She gave me lip touchup kit which was so nice to have throughout eating, drinking, and photos all night. I would love to work with Alana again!

  I will never let anyone else do my makeup! She does an excellent job every time and my makeup always looks EXACTLY the same many, many, many hours later. Through sweat and tears your makeup will not budge lol. No need for any touchups! Couldn’t recommend enough

  I can't even begin to thank Alana enough for always making me look good and for making my bridesmaids look as stunning as they did. There were 11 faces to get done on the day of my wedding and between herself and her partner, Wally, they knocked us all out within time and we all looked amazing. She is professional and very good at what she does. Aside from my wedding there were a few other occasions that I hired her for and every time not only did she make me look beautiful, but I felt beautiful too. Her chairside manner is awesome and our chats are always fun. As long as she's available, she will always be my MUA. Thank you, Alana!!

  Save yourself time and the headache

  Arrived late for my save the date photos and unapologetic. Don’t respond to emails in a timely fashion. Email her weeks before to schedule bridal shower makeup and had to email her multiple times before I received a response. By the time she responded my bridesmaid could no longer book the location for my bridal shower. When I emailed to change the date she wanted me to pay additional monies due to her poor and untimely response. Makeup was extremely heavy and unnatural on my face. My fault for not doing a trial booking before finalizing contract.

  Hello. I never actually serviced you on your wedding day which I know you’re well aware of. I never arrived late to anything, and as determined in court I was not at fault for any of how our situation went down. You wanted to switch the date of your session in which I advised there is a $10 rescheduling fee, I responded to you just fine and you wanted to argue over the $10 and told me I deserved to me in a car accident because you didn’t believe you should have to pay. It has been 2 years and I see you still have an inability to let it go even though a judge told you how wrong you were for the way you treated me. Will be reporting this review to get it removed.
