Eden Try Estate Vineyard and Winery is a winery & barn wedding venue in the greater Washington, D.C. area. Nestled just 4 miles from historic downtown Fredericksburg this venue combines the best of rustic and vintage elements for a perfect day! Our white and black barn was built for entertaining & is not a working barn. Complete with tables/chairs/choice of ceremony site, indoor restroom faclities & wooded grounds ready for a bit of your style. Couples will find this venue in Northern Virginia, approximately an hour from Richmond & 70 minutes from downtown Washington, D.C.

Facilities and Capacity

Eden Try can accomodate up to 160 comfortably in the event barn. The one level, open floor plan is handicap accesible & adjacent to the parking area. The vines of the winery provide host to the most beautiful wedding portraits while your guests enjoy our wines. You may marry on the property among the gardens or choose a variety of locations throughout the property.The event barn space for receptions as well as rain ceremony space features wide beam wooden floors, cathedral ceilings and wooden beams. Strings of lights hang for a romantic glow.

History

The venue was named for its original owner who toured old-Europe’s formal gardens, castles and estates and brought his knowledge to the United States. His goal was to recreate the best of these gardens in his own “Garden of Eden” in Virginia. The Manor House is built in the Williamsburg style of the George Wythe house. The Vineyard Barn was completed in 2014, the same year the winery opened as an event venue.
