The venue is truly one of a kind. We got married in the fall and the trees and leaves were BEAUTIFUL! Ken and Janean were wonderful and extremely helpful. They have different options on were to have the ceremony on the property. The barns and facilities were perfect. This place is a one stop shop, you can have your rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception all in one place and not have to worry about a thing. I cannot say one bad thing about this venue and would HIGHLY recommend booking Alturia Farms for your wedding!

Great variety of indoor outdoor locations, rustic yet modern. Have it early the backroads can be scary at night, everything else honestly was perfect, the owners are kind and helpful, they really take a lot of pride in their venue.

Alturia made our special day so magical! They went above and beyond. I highly recommend them to any bride and groom to be!

If I could give Janean and Ken 1,000 stars I would! This venue is so personal for them because it's also their home. They invite you and your party to be part of their beautiful place and make you feel like you're part of the family. They're so kind and their venue/home is GORGEOUS! The fields with the horses and the event barn are just two of the things that make this space spectacular for ANY event not just weddings. Our wedding was beautiful and they did a great job making sure we had everything we needed (including a horse drawn carriage fit for royalty; a MUST!) I cannot speak more highly of Janean and Ken! They are absolutely amazing. They were so kind from Day one when we toured the venue to the day of our wedding. They truly made our dream come true, and it would not have been half as magical without them. They go above and beyond and truely are the sweetest people. I can’t imagine choosing to get married any where else but Alturia farm.

We just got married at Alturia Farm and it was every bit of beautiful as well as magical! Janean, along with her crew were just wonderful and so easy to work with! I hightly recommend checking them out! For us, it was the first and last place we toured for our wedding venue!! So many details to just make it seamless and perfect! The place is just breathtakingly beautiful and we cant wait to go back and visit!

Where do I even begin! To say that Alturia Farm was a dream come true would be an understatement! We found them after an unfortunate loss of our first venue and they were amazing about working with us while we worked through those tough decisions!

We were welcomed at the property as many times as we needed (with proper notice of course) which was very helpful with deciding decor and set up. We also were able to take our engagement photos on site!

Everything came together as expected and mostly due to the extra staffing from the farm! These guys and gals busted their butts for 2+ days to make sure the venue was in perfect condition and I can not thank them enough.

Friday morning has rolled around again, six days after my daughter, Kara, was married at the beautiful Alturia Farm. What a delightful experience it was from the very first time I met Janean last June, to the final minutes of clean up last Saturday night. Janean and her staff were everywhere making sure everything went like clockwork - and it did. The whole event from the setup starting early Friday morning (thank you very much!) through the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, and continuing through the 'day of' preparations, the wedding and reception, the sparkler sendoff - it all went so perfectly. Even the cleanup was made easy by their expertise. Plus, the added bonus of the newlyweds being able to stay the night in your very cute 'Sugar Shack'. Our many guests were totally 'wowed' not only by the beautiful setting and accommodations, but also how delightful Janean, Lizzie, and all the staff were. This is a venue that feels like the 'warmth of home' to all that drive through its gates. Thank you again for making my daughter's day truly a dream come true.

Alturia farm is absolutely amazing, the owners are so welcoming and friendly! They do everything in their power to make your wedding day a dream come true. I can’t say one bad thing about this venue. Everything is so beautiful and on-site, the the bridal suite, groomsmen suite, and especially the reception barn! My guests LOVED this venue too! This rustic yet elegant venue is a must see!

Alturia Farms was hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From our first visit all the way through the big day (and even afterward), the staff went above and beyond to make our experience seamless, personal, and joyful.

Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but the Alturia team made it feel effortless. They answered every question I had — and there were a lot! — with kindness and patience. My husband and I both work during the day, and they were more than accommodating with evening visits. They even let us use the venue for both our engagement and bridal photos for free. The flexibility they offered was amazing — whether it was how we used the space, what ceremony site we chose, or adjusting to last-minute needs, they were there for us every step of the way.

One of the biggest things that sets Alturia apart: they only host one wedding per weekend. That meant the entire property was truly ours, no sharing space, no rushing. We had our pick of multiple ceremony locations (indoor and outdoor), and they truly worked with us to make the farm feel like it was built for our wedding.

Another major bonus? The DJ is included! We had Blue Note DJ, and he was a hit with everyone. He kept the party going, read the room perfectly, and made the entire reception feel like an actual celebration — not just a formality. It’s such a relief when you don’t have to track down or vet a separate vendor, and they absolutely nailed the entertainment.

Now, the wedding day itself? Let’s just say... Mother Nature was feeling dramatic. It was 98 degrees with a heat index of 105, and I nearly passed out after the ceremony. The Alturia staff responded instantly — they got me to an air-conditioned space, brought me water, and helped rearrange the schedule on the fly. My husband and I got a quiet hour to recover and just be together while our guests enjoyed cocktail hour. Most people had no idea anything had even happened — that’s how smooth they made everything.

Despite the heat, we had an incredible reception and everything we hoped for. I can't thank Courtney and Janean enough — they are true pros who clearly care deeply about every couple they serve.

A quick heads-up for fellow animal lovers: Alturia is a working horse farm, but the horses are kept in large pastures or the barn, so they're not in the way. If anything, they just add charm!
